Front turns as Running lights too?

    2018 Limited TRD 4x4 CM - Cement
    Minor stuff- Tint, rear sway bar , pedal commander, TRD drop in filter DD Exhaust, Bilstein 6112/5160, stealth 32” lightbar, Cali Raised Offroad fog light replacements.
    I know that on older 4runners you could do a quick ground and have the drl’s also work as running lights (w/ headlights on)

    Anyone do something similar to our front turns?

    The front blinker does not have the wiring to support a dual filament bulb. Why would you want the blinker on when you have a dedicated led drl strip around the light?

    Looking for more illumination at night with the headlights on. Marker light style without doing a “raptor” look.

    Made a huge difference on my 4runner.

    Those are pre 18 trucks that used the blinker as a DRL, so their harnesses have the wiring to support the dual filament bulb. But 18+ trucks do not have the wiring in the harness to support this.
