This one took me forever to get started. I tried contacting Excide, they expressed NO interest in this. I contacted Optima and they pretty much ignored my constant requests for a discount.

I couldn't get a vendor to provide discounts on Odyssey.
Northstar, on the other hand replied and directed me to a distributor that's more than willing to work with me with this one.

Guys, List has been updated.

The vendor and I have discussed, due to the large amount of interested people, he will start accepting payments on Monday or Tuesday of next week.

The order will be turned into Northstar as a WHOLE on Friday the 15th of April. Everyone will have about 4 days to make payments, this is plenty of time!

 

Purchasing starts tomorrow and will need to be finalized by Friday around noon.

Vendor lives in the same town as the Northstar factory - He will submit the order to Northstar on Friday.

The following week, Northstar will slap all the batteries on a pallet and the vendor will pick up.

Batteries will then start shipping.

It is not too late to join

It doesn't help Tundras.com if the group buy is on a different site.... IMO.

The group buy post was in april, I replied to CSU's post asking if there was a group buy and ramon replied, "you just missed it"..... oh well.

 

oh.. I think I know what he means.

@csuviper is on Tacomaworld and 4runners.com. What I meant is he missed it on there since he is active there to.

I didn't post the Northstar group buy on Tundras.com

 

The last group buy was last month, but on other forums that CSU is on. That's what I meant.

 

I can get the Optima marine battery D31M 8052-161 , if anyone interested for $200 anytime. Shipping will be extra. I'm in SF & Bay Area for local pick up.

 

Subscribed for when this pops up in the future. Wouldn't mind starting out fresh with my new (to me) Tundra, but every 3 years I buy new batteries for the boat - it takes 7 batteries....and this is boat battery year come spring.

Not silly, pretty sure that's what others are saying also. I was just giving Ramon shit because us tundra dudes aren't cool enough for the battery deal haha
