    Stock for now...
Mine is getting new NFab Tube steps (not the sliders I want, but within Santa’s budget) and a Victory 4X4 Crewmax roofrack!

Added cheapy floor mats and new clamps for for my old undercover flex to fit the new truck. Have to be careful. If my wife compares what I spent on the truck to what I spent on her I may be sleeping in it.

Just installed my step lights. They come on with the dime lights and fade out like the done lights. Also come on when you ores the unlock on the remote and shut off immediately if you press the lock button on the remote. Will come on when you open the door. Also installed Headlight revolution GTR lighting led headlights and fog lights but forgot to take a picture but believe me, it's 3 times better light output over stock bulbs. I could hardly see with those dim lights.

Yup Holiday sales got to me. Saved a lot, spent a lot. Tires and wheels are mounted just too busy to install the coilovers.

$899 on Amazon with a $100 rebate was the best I could find. Rebate was expiring on that day so I needed to make a quick decision. Also offered 18 months no finance so it was a no brainer.

Quick tip that was passed on to me. I don't have the factory rail system. On Amazon the one without the rail system was significantly more. $963 I believe. Only difference was that the one with the rail system came with added hardware to relocate the rail system because of the BakFlip. So now if I ever decide to add the rail system, I have the hardware plus it was cheaper.

BTW, it rained hard all night in SoCal which is odd, but I did get water in the bed. Not a whole lot. I don't care as I expected it to leak.

I have the bed extender under my MX4 BakFlip. Love how it keeps my work gear accessible. I was thinking of those swing boxes, but I wouldn't be able to keep anything towards the tailgate. I believe the swing boxes also rule out using a 2X6. Instead I went with two Costco bins. For what I do, it's perfect.

Nothing like last-minute Christmas shopping. I topped off the tank and stopped to spray the mud and salt off her at the car wash. :)

Don’t want the wife feeling left out, so her turn is later. :eek2: :D

In my 2014 DC, I installed an aftermarket HU, Alpine PDX V9, all 4 doors Focal speakers (PS165FX 2 ways in the front/ Performance 100AC coaxial in the rear), and a JL Audio twin 10" Stealthbox 3 years ago.
It has NEVER sounded good, but I lived with it.
Now the truck is paid off, it is time to address the situation.
I've done some emailing with James tech12volts and he says my sub is way under powered.

Wife bought me a JL Audio JX1000/1 mono amp, should be 1K RMS watts since the Stealthbox is wired at 2ohm.
Kids bought me a JL Audio JX400 for the doors so I can ditch the Alpine.

I'm off the third week of January so I'm going to install it all.

If the Stealthbox still doesn't give me what I need, I'll buy a ported Tundra DC box from James.

I spent today measuring and taking notes of what I need for the install.
I have 1 4 ga line run from the battery, I think I'm going to run 1 more.
Each amp have it's own 4 ga line run from a 1 ga line close to the battery.

    Merry Christmas.

Technically my tundra got a new tundra. Swapped the 19 tss edition for a 20 trd sport. Then the 20 got a leveling kit, 275/65/20 Mickey Thompson ATZ P3s, tint, tailgate letters, and katzkins ordered. 18983A65-2495-4A3B-B875-F6EC75DDEC9B.jpgCEE30558-C48D-429C-8C76-F439A571C0EC.jpg

I’m confused. You traded a Trd off-road with upgrades (TSS) for a Trd sport? Please educate me as I’m still learning

Blue truck is a TSS. NOT a TRD offroad. Big difference.
TRD Sport has the hoods skewp so that’s a plus. You can pretty clearly see the aggressive Mickey Thompson tires on the white truck so that’s the new one with the upgrades.

IIRC TSS is just a regional package, so the an SR5 TRD off road and and SR5 TSS off road would be the same basic animal.

And SR5 TRD OR would have 18” wheels and blue/ yellow billies.
A TSS has 20x9’s, side steps, floor mats, and black shocks.

Right, but on the fender it says TSS off road. Wouldn't that have the same suspension? I really don't know. :notsure: Just something I read on another thread somewhere on here.

I have a 2nd generation Factory JL single woofer box from my totalled 2010 Tundra installed in my '15 along with the J/X 1000/1 and a bass knob. It sounds good enough for me, but I'm not so sure I would use it for the new dual woofer 3rd generation boxes.

    Sorry for the late response.

Both trucks are considered SR5 trim.

The Blue truck is the 19 TSS package. This is a regional package. It includes the wheels, tires, steps, and badge overlays. Most of the dealers in my areas sale this package if the truck is a SR5.

The Trd sport has the following additional items: front and rear trd sway bars, red Bilstien shocks, color matched bumpers, hood scoop, BSM, and parking sensors.

Part of the decision to make the swap was the cost to color match everything on the blue truck. Once you factor in the sway bars, sensors, etc, and the upgrades for 2020 then it became a no brainer for me because of everything I was wanting to do.

Well I'll try it and see.
If it doesn't work out I'll send the amp back to Crutchfield and swap it for something bigger.
My SIL thinks it will work out OK, the Crutchfield guy says it should work ok.
But the funny thing is, the JL Audio tech I talked with 3 years ago said that Alpine PDX V9 with 500w RMS would run that sub box.
    It doesn't at all.
