Does anyone know if ARH ever sorted out the fitment issue with their Direct Connect long tube header kit made specifically for Regular Cab Short Box trucks?

Last time I checked the mid pipe on the drivers side was way too long, and it didn't match up with the RCSB specific muffler.

Thats my truck in the picture. A shop in houston made the piece fit, however they did a pretty crappy job. Since the end connections are where they needed to be, i sent the piece back to ARH. They made a jig for this and made a proper piece which now fits (and looks) perfect. Last i checked, they have this as an option on the website.

I knew this from a previous discussion with you, but I can't get confirmation with a specific part number from anyone. I contacted ARH after you first posted about your ordeal, and they said they did not have anything that was bolt on.

the headers are not specific to a cab configuration. The only variable is the year if you are trying to tie in to an existing cat back exhaust. You can see here that they have added the 07-09 based on this new piece. upload_2019-12-24_8-0-23.jpg

I saw that, but I can't get confirmation that it's a direct bolt on kit - I am especially leery because ARH stated they don't have it, even though their web page indicates that they may have it. I don't want to go through what you went through, and I don't want to have to return the kit because nobody at ARH could provide a straight answer. Also, mine is not a TRD.

Not sure what to tell you man, they should have it though. I have no dog in this fight, but i suggest you speak to Nick Fillipides directly and ask him if you have not already done so.

    Thank you.

BTW, are you happy with the results once you got it all sorted out?

I spoke with Nick this afternoon, and after I emailed him some pictures he was able to confirm that the (TRD) option with the Direct Connect kit on their web site is for anyone that has a factory muffler with the connections pictured below.

That's good news for me... now I'll wait for a sale of at least 20% off.
