Inked20191223_143641_LI.jpg Inked20191223_161426_LI.jpg Picked up a TRD grille and surround in gloss black. I'm debating whether or not to make the effort to swap the surround to the attitude black. Would like to hear the communities thoughts.

Actually I'd leave it as is. Gloss black isn't too much different than Attitude. Once I get my tax refund I'm going thru @Roman to get an Attitude Black hood bulge and the Pro grille which comes with surround in gloss black only. Will still look kick ass and less chrome. Win...win..

    Thanks!
Century cap, with a thule rack. Integrated lock to the key fob, carpeted headliner with a slider interior window, fully removable for cleaning.
I got it for right around $2400. Bonus, the brand sticker on the back window peeled off really easy, so just a single badge on the side, that I'm hoping to plastidip.

Nice! I couldn't get that set up in a Leer out here for less than 3500. I have no idea why they are so much more expensive.

Love my Ducks. I used to teach SCUBA at the UofO, and all the football players would take the class their senior year, after they were done playing for the U. They were fun dudes, easy to teach, they were used to following coaching/teaching.

That's wierd considering Leer makes Century so I would assumes it's exactly the same minus the badging. Only thing I didn't get that you have is the locking with the key fob but I plan to add that at the same time that I add the power tailgate lock. Can't wait to be able to have the dogs in the bed instead of the cab. I'm sure they'll love it too since I plan to take the screens out of the sliders so they can hang their heads out.

Glad you opted for the Bed Rug. I had a Bed Rug in my 07 and my 14 will have one too.... Spray on bed liners are quite popular but you can't beat the Bed Rug. IMHO

I took my first scuba lessons as an elective at Umpqua Community College in 75. Our first open water dive was in the Umpqua River......in the middle of winter. :annoyed:Our second open water 30 foot minimum dive was in a lake near Yachats.

Bwaaah haaahaa. this post got so off track!!! I love it. Keep it. I have the gloss and attitude black pro grill and surround and you need to be OCD to notice the difference.

I've got a very rare "Pre" autograph that he signed for me on a field meet program. Our high school track coach was a good friend of Bowerman. I know you know who I'm talking about.

Yeah I sort of understand the spray in if you really plan to abuse the bed but most people that do don't really care if it's the paint they are scratching or a spray in liner. The liner protects the paint on a bed that your plan to abuse? I don't know doesn't really seem to make sense. I bought a truck and have zero care if I scratch the bed of my truck. The BedRug would be an odd choice without some type of cover obviously but if I were to go topless I'd just opt for a bed mat keep things from sliding around. I like the bedrug since it will be comfortable for the dogs and can come out easily to be cleaned, plus I can sleep back there with it when camping.

Exactly....but the Bed Rug can take a lot of abuse if you were inclined to load sand, rocks, bricks, etc. Check out You Tube Bed Rug vids. As for me... My knees aren't what they used to be... the Bed Rug makes it a lot easier.

I got it used here. Looks great and frankly have not noticed it since. So much black everywhere you have to really pay attention.

Yeah, for me, it's part of my OCD. I think I can live with it, I'll have to wait and see once the truck is washed. I'm getting color matched mirror caps, and door handles. That probably won't help, LOL. But, if the gloss black looks like an accent/border thing, I'll probably get by.

I attempted to do the surround, but couldn't find my heat gun, and it's cooler out here, right now, so of course I broke two out of the first four clips. *sigh*

Added the door handles and mirror caps, forgot to mention that I did the fender flares at the same time as the grille. Before and After.
    Before and After Fenders, too.

Still need to wash this thing though.
Has anyone plastidipped their Platinum Badges/Emblem? I think I'd like to do that next.

Well, I broke down and swapped out the Attitude Black with the Gloss Black. Couldn't help myself.
I'm glad I did though, it wasn't getting to me too much, but it was triggering my OCD enough, that I was having a hard time enjoying the look. I also blacked out the Toyota when I remounted it. The fog lights are new too.
