What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

Installed my BEDRUG.

 

Excuse my ignorance, but what exactly does that do? Anti-theft?

 

It prevents the bed sides from flexing, especially if you have a bed rack and/or RTT.

 

Installed new hood shield today

Not to sound dumb, but this stuff is foreign to me...do the one set of bulbs cover hi-beam and low-beam or do I need to order two sets to cover both?

Installed Rago Fab dash plate. Love the look of the sleek design. Now waiting for my Ram holders for my cell & ipad

 

How was the install on this? I really like the design on the piece but I'm hesitant to drill into the dash.

It was a fairly easy install actually. I was hesitate too but If i ever sell the truck I still have the original cover so I can just place it back on top and it wont look like there’s any holes drilled unless you take it off to look lol.

 

So what is the purpose of the double sided sticky tape on the curved hinge cover?

 

Installed the AJT vent rings and center console pieces. Easy. $75 bucks=huge improvement. Think I've got an extra 5 hp now too. Lol

 

How do you like the vent rings? Do they really cover all of the chrome going into the vent? I just installed my shifter and cup holder pieces and want to continue the theme but don’t want to put the vent rings on if they look cheap or if you can tell that they are adhesive covers.

 

I've got the vent rings as well, they completely cover the chrome.

 

They look legit to me. They do cover all the chrome. Looks like a factory vent. Makes the interior feel more rugged to me. Just make sure you put them on facing the same way. I did the lower profile indent straight up. Definitely recommend. Easy install. It was cold on install day so I would crank the heat up and let it blow on the double sided tape for a minute before sticking it to the chrome vent ring.

 

Nice! They do look good and I agree it gives a more rugged look not having as much chrome/silver trim going on in there. I also noticed the vent rings have the same profile indent as the rings around the speedometer and tachometer which makes it look more factory. Where did you find the carbon fiber accent trim on your dash? I also have a limited and mine has wood grain accent trim which I do like but hadn’t seen any other options for those parts yet. Thanks for the input on the vent rings will be ordering them soon!

I am leaning towards the Icon stage 5 or possibly stage 7. How do you like it so far?

 

Love it! It rides so much better than stock. The icon shocks do a great job of eliminating bounce. You will need extended brake lines, fair warning.

 

Got new tires installed and completed a little plastidip work on the console

 

You people are killing me just ordered the pedal commander...lol I need to stop looking on here....just kidding I’m a junkie now

 

I installed the pedal commander a month ago. Really makes a difference.
However, I'm in Michigan, and with snow on the roads you'll spin the tires allot.
I put mine back on economy mode when the roads are snow covered.
