Dug the trench and laid the conduit today between the house and garage for my solar project. Put in a 2" pipe for the conductors and a 1" pipe to hardwire the coms for the inverter.IMG_20191215_123853.jpg
I think this might have been the last day to dig as the temperature is supposed to drop and the ground will probably freeze this week. Thursday high temp is supposed to be 15.

Got rid if a big bush. Doesn't feel nearly as satisfying as what some of you are up to but it's done. Took up two trash cans, on the bright side the soil beneath that bush (and the twin that was where the rocks are) is super fertilized, when I gather some cool plants for the yard they should grow fast.

    That palm tree is next.

Call it my TRUCK GANG instincts, but I've never been happy with the cheap little plastic floor scratchers on my office chair. That's for rookies! Always getting stuck, even when I had a floor mat.
    20191219_191226.jpg

So I yanked those little things off and installed some TRUCK GANG approved wheels with urethane tires! It even gave my chair a 1.5" lift, TRUCK GANG! If you guys have an office chair and want to ditch the floor mat, get some of these, it's the best thing I could have done and only $28.

Link for the trunk gang wanna bees? I have Saltillo tile with big gaps and dips, my “craft room” chair could really use a lift like this

No, these were branded as EGLO. Model name is Riga.

They are pretty compact, which I needed to fit in those spots, but put out good light. I liked them because they have replaceable bulbs rather than a fixed LED set.

I got these on overstock. List price is $76 but got them for <$60 each on sale.

Guy I went to school with started similarly with steel. It's gotten pretty successful and he's donated bunch of flags to Veteran organizations locally.

    Just don’t invite them! That’s what I do :D

Finally hooked up the 240V compressor today. Only took 3 trips to Home Depot and 1 to ace to complete the task.
I was pissed when I unpackaged it, and there wasn’t a 240V plug! I was like, WTF!?!? I’m no electrician, but figured it out. House isn’t on fire. :D

And not really home improvement, but also brought my quads home for the first time in 11 years, tore down the carbs, replaced fluids and battery, and surprisingly fired right up! Time to build a track - Woot woot!!! :D

My framers are moving along at a great pace to get all the framing done for my latest barn project. The frame stage is one of my favorite stages in a project. It’s always exciting because it enables the client’s to see the plans transfer into reality. My metal erectors will start installing the roof insulation and standing seam roof by Thursday this week. I’ve got a 4,200 square foot garage foundation that I just started for a metal garage at the same property. 0BBDD8C6-DCCA-4614-AE70-5B64F6E0713F.jpg B75A8D6C-C207-4076-BAD0-B9D0E66C377A.jpg 41C3AF60-F4F1-478D-A31D-1D85C047A8A2.jpg A27C59BC-8D9E-4B9D-AA00-BEF5FDAA43CA.jpg
