I know I'm not the only one that hates noisy a$$ wipers!!!

What wipers are the best that don't skip, jump, streak or make some god awful noise!!!!

Step one: Remove wax and other coatings from windshield.

Step two: Buy cheap rubber wipers.

    Step 3:????

    Step 4: Profit

so here is what worked for me. I got the RainX windshield washer fluid and seemed to make everything better. It's got that funky water bead stuff and quiets the wipers too as the rubber slides easier.

I cleaned my windshield with water and a new SOS pad, rinsed it well. Washed the entire truck good, used some Meguires Ceramic Wax on the entire truck including the windows, added Rain-X washer fluid, Now I almost never need the wipers and when I do, quiet as can be.

OEM wipers are as good as anything else I've tried. I use the Rain-X fluid. If you're able, garaging your truck is beneficial for blade longevity.

RainX orange washer fluid is known to destroy washer nozzles. I also think it causes premature wiper blade wear

Like @Ericsopa said, get that Rain-x wiper fluid, it makes a huge difference!
Beyond that, I buy the mid grade ($15-20) wipers. Not the $3 Ancos, but also not the $35 Icons. :notsure:

Never had a problem. Been using it for 3-4 years. Also dump some isopropyl alcohol in the washer reservoir.

Orange RainX was messing up the wifes 4runner washer nozzle, switched back to the normal cheap blue washer fluid and no problems since.

THIS, and 00 steel wool or clay bar works just as good. I use the rain X coating - steel wool with window cleaner, dry and wipe down with alcohol/water mixture and apply rainX like wax to windshield. Takes 20 minutes and when done, masking tape won’t stick. Repeat every 30 days or so. I buy the Bosch or rainX wiper blades. Get 2 years out of them.

EXTERIOR WINDOW SURFACES ONLY - This method will not work on the inside of your car and if it’s raining in there, you got bigger problems.

Wish I could afford an ass wiper.
But like @7.62Tundra said, a good coating does the trick! I have a buddy who does ceramic coating and he did my truck with ceramic pro and nothing sticks to anything, I highly recommend! In the past I’ve had luck with Bosch icons or Michelin makes a nice pair too.

I find the Toyota wipers better than anything else. No need to replace the whole wiper when the inserts cost $5 from the dealer. $10 and 5 minutes of your time and you have brand new blades.

while not bad, I Have not thought the Bosch are as good as quality and shorter life than mama Toyota.
