That’s a lot of opening and closing the hood every time.

After having my 02 f250 stolen ivI' been looking at the revalco for my tundra .
Closest place to me would be in houHous area. About 100 miles from me.
But after Christmas I'm going to call them.

I had my 4runner stolen in 2017 so vowed for it to never happen again (as much as I can help it). I had outstanding service with Austin Ravelco, very good customer service. I had the opposite with Houston's on the phone. You could tell they didn't care for customer service and seemed to be rushing me off the phone. I live in Houston and drove to Austin (in-laws there) and had it installed while I was there. Just some food for thought.

I have not done this to the Tundra but way back when we rigged a few older convertibles with a factory dash switch tied in to whatever we could to shut down the fuel or spark so if the switch was not turned on the engine would spin but not start. Hide the switch in plain sight is my vote.

It's easy.... Go to the local automotive store and ask for a 1972 Ford LTD Headlight Dimming Switch and mount it in the floor and wire it up to ignition switch. No one would ever know the difference and when you want to start it just step on the switch and off your running.

Long time ago I worked on a car that the customer eliminated the oem window lock switch feature on his car and wired that switch up as an ignition interrupter I thought it was kind of interesting I think if a thief tries to take the car he’s not going to think about that switch on the door panel

I like the idea of hiding it in plain sight...has anyone does it yet?
