All the seats were full of gear, you can fit an entire jumbo pizza from father Murphys on the hump!! Didn’t move a bit. Benchseatsmatter 10A5BA41-92FA-4B60-935B-123354DC9947.jpg

I drove my tundra today for the first full day in over a week since my needle bearing destructed. It was a good day and it was nice to hear the 4.7 again. After a d bag in a... You guessed it, a dodge, tried to run me off the road, I decided I might need a front sway bar. On the list I guess.
Wifey had a doc appointment that I drove her to and she still appreciates the rock sliders as steps. We got news that we are expecting a pair of hellions instead of just one. I guess I need to figure out if I can throw 2 car seats and 1 toddler seat in the back row of my tundra.

Congrats on all but the "Dodgebag!" There's three of the baby seat clips under/ behind the rear seat, but you might want the toddler in the middle for easy on and out.

That was my thought too. Glad I'm not the only one thinking it's possible.

Congrats! DC is weird that it only has two tethers in the rear, so the toddler car seat will have to use the older seatbelt method...which works just fine but is a bit of a PITA. How close is the older one to booster seat status?

I just checked, and you're absolutely right. There are only two tethers, on the outsides. I could have sworn I saw three last time I was there.

My wife has wanted a minivan for a while but I'm really pushing for a gx470 or a Highlander. I'm kinda kicking myself because when I got my truck my eyes were on either a gx470 or a tundra. Maybe should have gone with the Lexus.

Last I checked the kids needed car seats until they were 10 years old? Kidding, but you get the point.

My friend just got rid of his odyssey. He wasn't happy with the no spare tire, run flats from the dealer setup. I can tell you a Crewmax 2nd/3rd Gen will hold a 5 adults comfortably. No need for this minivan business.

Nope...laws vary by state and are a combination of age/size/weight...I've been doing it for the last 14 years here in GA...you have to check your state to see what's required by law.

I just fixed a loose door stop check. That pop sounds made me cringe every time the door opened.

@KarmaKannon has better taste than that! Man I know where two good vans are for sale. You can have your family and off road too. Might need sliders on the first one, I'm 6' tall and can barely touch the handle.

Am I the only one that doesn't like having at least 1 vehicle that gets more than 15mpg? If you buy a GX470 it's gonna be another gas hog. While we couldn't haul 3 kids in it, our Rav4 gets 29mpg so it's what we use on all our road trips. A highlander would be a good option though.
