I don't think comparing the worth of a man's house is a healthy or good thing there are so many variables depending on where the house is located, its age, property taxes etc.

My house is a colonial built in 1925.....in 5 more years it'll be 100 years old!

Dated for 8 years and married for 3 years. Time traveled for 30+ years

 

Now, I’ll be 39 yrs here shortly, she’s 37 yrs old.
Been together for 20 years, bought our first house and moved in together at 19 yrs old and 21 yrs old.

She was a junior in highschool and I had just graduated when we got together. Took me 8yrs to ask her to marry me. Lol Everyone that knows her would agree, she’s an absolutely amazing person. Definitely lucked out.

Back in 07 when we married, and then a few weekends back.





Eta - also birthed a couple life-ruiners 11 and 7 years back

 

It's an accomplishment that I am proud of. I don't know many 40+ year olds who own their homes outright, especially in an area with a high cost of living. But you are entitled to your opinion

Married 35 years, dated for 6. My house is worth, not too godamm much apparently.
But back on topic. I don't know how I made it this long. She's always been a saint and I used to be a dick. Thankful it's still good.

 

35, married for 15 years. 3 kids, here's the oldest learning to do brakes this last weekend

 

36, been together for 17 years and married for 10.

 

We went through a very rough patch about 20 years into it. Even separated for about a year. He got his shit straight. As you say "Growing old along with me and the best is yet to be" -- now we are facing new chapters knowing the horizon gets closer and closer every day and we want to make the most of what we have together.

I can't imagine going through nam. I had friends whose oder brothers went and some teachers who went and it really messed with them. People were NOT kind to those who went and nobody thanked them for risking their lives for their country. A belated thank you.
