2000 tundra

I have a 2wd 2000 tundra I’m looking to raise the front up about 2-3” what is the best route for street driving only

 

Not raising it up 2-3”.

Keep it stock or maybe +1” upfront lift with Bilstein 5100 adjustable shocks. Affordable and safe and looks good!

 

Amen. I just removed a 3" ( I think) leveling kit from mine because when I parked it next to a un-leveled truck I thought the other one looked so much better.

In anycase....thats what you do if for that is what you are going for. Strut spacers. Cheap and easy to install, although I wouldn't recommend it.

 

I would say you could just throw a spacer(usually it’s a leveling kit that lifts the front a couple inches) on your stock setup and it’s cheap and isn’t going to damage to much but does put a little more stress on that upper ball joint I believe. Still rides great to me. I bought mine with that. Or if you want to do it right go new coil overs and upper control arm for the lift. I’d do king/fox shocks on camburg upper control.
