I think I’d pick what size tire you want to go with then pick your lift according to that. When I did mine I didn’t want to do a BMC/CMC at this time with the truck only being 6 months old when I did my lift and went with 285’s when my tires need replaced I’ll change all that and set my lift up to run 37’s. Good luck in your research on what you want to go with. There are a lot of trucks on here to give you ideas on what your looking for.

This fellow Virginian says go with 37s and a regear with that much lift. It will look righteous!

It has been said but I will say it again. Do 35's. 33's will look small. Depending on how you drive the truck will track at about 11'ish MPG. I don't believe re-gearing is necessary though some might disagree. Also keep in mind you will most likely have to cut portions of your inner fender out (depending on the wheel offset). It hurts initially but once done, you will never notice it again. I have the 6" ready lift & I love it. Truck sits level & the ride is like factory. The tires are the only thing that really makes the ride distinguishable from your factory ride.

35’s on 3” and 37”’s on 6”. With 6” lift comes more issues down the road. Mall crawler all show 6” on 37’s looks good but 3” on 35’s saves wear tear and money!. 3” seems to be sweet spot. I’m currently stock on 35’s but will go 3” when I go. Built many lifted vehicles and the higher you go the deeper in the pocket you better dig.

    Lost track after #1.
I'm running 35x12.5x18 on about a 3-4" lift or so. I think the offset is +16? Can't remember. It's in my build thread tho.

That’s a nice looking vehicle. Is that a Line-X, painted, or plasti-dipped grille and bumper caps?

Did you need to do any trimming with that setup (3” w/ 35’s)?

Only trimmed the sides of the skid plate closest to tires while installing the lift, based on what others had done. But I didnt drive it to know if it would rub for sure. No other rubbing tho. No wheel spacers

37’s on 2.5” lift with a 0 offset. Just go 37’s. Anything less you’ll be wanting to upgrade in a year.

No rub. The front bumper and glass fenders help a lot along with a really aggressive cab chop. The 0 offset was bad enough but them -44’s are no joke. If I weren’t planning on going LT, I would’ve stuck with a +25.

I would bet that those trucks with 35s and 3" of lift would completely Rub in the fenderwell when turning. Maybe in the city, that would work. The winding narrow mountain roads I drive you will need more lift than that. I run a pro comp 6" lift with 35s and can still get some rub when turning, especially in reverse. I would say 3" for 33s, 6" for 35s, 7" for 37s.
