I bought a set of 35" Kanati Mud Hogs here

Best set of cheapo tires I've ever had. They're made in Indonesia but Four Wheeler's review was very positive. Get yourself a set and you won't regret it

Haven't had any experience with the XT's, my buddy had their MT's and they were loud even by MT standards.

Some people here know exactly what they want. Others, like me:D, go back-and-forth about this mod or that mod, until they finally decide and pull the trigger.

But the site is helpful because you can see so many options and different ways of doing things.

I'm running Trail Blade XTs in 295/70/18. So far no issues. They are quite noisy, but I'm used to it. So far so good. No issues at all. I bet returns are based on the noise.

Buying a quality tire is VERY important. I would suggest you pay a little more and go with a top tier brand such as Nitto, Toyo BFG Conti etc. Made in the USA is a plus.

35x12.50r20 BFG KM3's sitting in the garage ready to be mounted.

Like mentioned before, tires are the only contact our vehicles have with the road. Not something to cheap out on. Not knocking any particular brand per say, but at least in the weather conditions where I live, I want a well known reliable brand of tire when lives could be at risk

I friend of mine had them on his truck and he had a had time getting them to balance. It could have been the shop. I think he was able to get it worked out. He traded the truck in. So I have nothing about the long term.

I think the price some of these manufacturers charge is appalling. Not gonna pay $2000 for tires alone.

    Tastefully enhanced...
Cooper ST MAXX are the best E-code tires in my opinion...amazing on ice, mud and self-cleaning to boot...they also boast a 55k mile warranty so that's a hard one to beat...they are expensive but you get what you pay for...and when it comes to tires, they are the only thing touching the ground so pay more for piece of mind and don't look back...

One thing I like about coopers is they are made in the USA. The 40” STT pros I have on my rock crawler are awesome. Never ran a cooper before until I took a gamble on the 40’s earlier this year. I’ve got nothing to complain about. Plus with my employee discount the 40” cooper was cheaper than a 37” Goodyear MTR.

Seth, did you have to do any lift or spacer to run the 295/70? Are these on stock rims?
