I'm in the market to find a good air rifle to take out 8-12 lb pests roaming around my property. I live in the trailerhood so I think silenced .22s are out of the question. I'm getting real tired of pest feces all over my property. That or any other recommendations are welcome.

You’d be better off with a live trap in the trailer-hood. Low velocity, rounded ammo at the angle you’ll be shooting at from a trailer window is certain to ricochet unpredictably.

You can shoot them in a cage as well...or let them go elsewhere.
A .177(air rifle) for a 8-12 lbs animal; humane, don't kid yourself ...they'll wander off a die somewhere I guess. A 22 rifle works okay on racoons but if not a head shot they still go a ways...shotgun stops them in a hurry.

Lots of good options. A crossbow would be awesome, but I worry if I hit one and it ran off. Pretty sure if someone saw a ca.....varmint with an arrow in it police would be called. If I got a live trap I worry it would start shrieking and attract attention before I got home to deal with it. That gamo rifle looks to be the way to go. I'm tired of seeing them all over the place, shitting next to my work truck, going through dumpsters, fighting at all hours of the night. And my pos neighbor feeds them.

I would not be messing with raccoons ............ they have a very long (anywhere from 10 to over 100 days) and unpredictable incubation period for rabies and are a major source of it. ......... Our little ancient 22 rifle is pretty darned quiet ........

I used to use a single shot .22 rifle with CCI CB Short sub-sonic ammo to eliminate invasive squirrels at my parent's house. It was no louder than my .177 pellet gun and had better killing power.
