I’ve got a line on two great trucks. Help me choose.

    A) 2018 1794 4x w 7k miles for 41,800 out the door (Autonation w remaining factory warranty)

    B) 2018 Limited 4x w18k miles + lifetime oil changes and tire rotations for 41,800 out the door (Certified Used with 7/100k drivetrain)

    I would get the 1794.
Lifetime oil changes and tire rotations are worthless to me.
I would never let somebody from a dealership change my oil. Let alone have to sit and wait a couple hours for them to do it.

1794 has fewer miles (and obviously more features) for same price?! Why wouldn't you go for that one?

Can’t go wrong. But the 1794 has tan interior I think. Tough to keep clean imo. Good luck on your purchase. A win either way. Best trucks on the market.

1794 hands down. More features and much better interior quality. I've had both

I would go with the Limited personally. Not a fan of that 1794 interior color at all.

Thanks men for your input. Some background. The Limited is here in Houston and the 1794 is in Florida. The Limited also had the “Toyota Certified” 100k mile warranty add on. Otherwise I guess I was placing too much value in the oil changes. Upon further inspection, you only get the oil changes as long as you “complete recommend maintenance” at that dealership. Yeah, no. ....oh and almost forgot. After getting the Carfax on the Limited it was actually a 2017 not an 18.

I’m getting the 1794 on Monday. Thanks fellas!

Limited. I couldn’t do the color of 1794.
Oil changes and tire rotation are a good bonus; but I also know / trust a couple of dealers so it’s done right

I’d look at 2019-2020. In July I bought my SR5. SX. List 41,723Out the door 32,875. So there’s good deals if you go online and get prices. This way you will be the only driver from day 1.

Wouldn't they both have the remaining warranty? I like the B option, but in the end it is you who has to live with it.

I know that you have decided on the 1794 but I would also suggest looking at new 2019s that are being cleared to make way for the 2020s. When I was shopping for mine, I quickly found out that buying a brand new one was always cheaper than a one or two year old truck with varying miles. For some reason that I don't understand, used truck values here in the PNW are crazy high and all the used ones that i came across were asking for absurd $$$s so i just bought new.

Unless you're paying cash, you'll also get a better interest rate buying new.

1 or 2 year old Tundra's are crazy high everywhere...for good reason:thumbsup: 3 years old...you have to price check carefully. OP wants that 1794. So be it. Get it and post pics! @Cblowery21

Yeah its better to buy new than used ,not much difference in price if you know how to negotiate .
I bought my new 14 Limited DC in December 2013 for $38600+ TT ,4 years later dealer gave me 30k on trade plus i saved 8k in taxes for depreciation of the truck

I doubt you save $8k in taxes on depreciation. You may have saved $8K times your tax bracket in depreciation. The OP is talking about a damn near new 1794 for $42K. Your 2013 at $38K is apples and oranges.

The 19s left I’ve seen aren’t anywhere near 37.9 for a 1794 4x4...if you can even find one. I see 7k miles as essentially new, and I’m getting 3.17 financing.
