Hi, I have mine up on ramps and just following some lines. I see the trans lines coming to radiator in front of the main engine cooling radiator. Is one side of this unit used for the trans cooler and the other side used as the AC condenser? TIA. Sorry if this has been covered but couldn't find anything in the search engine.

Yes one side is you a/c condenser and the other is your aux trans cooler. Never understood why the used a portion of an a/c condenser that gets pretty hot to cool your trans more.
Probably why they eliminated it instead of using a stand alone cooler

Thank you. I thought the same thing and was scratching my head. So are all of them from that era using a trans cooler or just with a tow package? I have a tow button but no brake controllers.

Not 100% sure if thats just the setup for a tow package. I see many tundras and almost all have that setup from that era

Tow package only. From 2002 through 2010, a stand alone ATF exchanger was used up front for 4.7L and 5.7L. The tow package ATF cooler in the AC condenser began in 2010 on the 4.6L, continued through 2013 for the 4.6L (no more tow package for 4.6L after 2013), and for 5.7L tow package through 2018. Additional ATF cooler was discontinued for 2019.

You have the best of worlds for a brake controller on your 2015. Plug and play harness connection behind lower dash panel to right of steering wheel for aftermarket brake controller of your choice.

Thank you John for your concise answer. I've seen the roman ads for the controller etc. I'm very happy that I ended up with a tow package. These trucks are so cryptic on the option packages for an SR5. I have leather and all sorts of upgrades. Wish the original owner would have stuck the window sticker in the manual portfolio. I'm really liking my truck and plan on keeping it forever and plan on getting a dual axle trailer that will carry my tractor and maybe a small tow behind camper in the future.
