    No.
Well I have been a tundra owner for a few months now and while down at the lake my wife ran to grocery store in the tundra with my 13 year old daughter In Front seat. They started to argue about where to turn in and she ran a red light and tboned a car. Everyone was ok no one hurt except the truck.:):(

now I am faced with making some changes to stock sr5. Thanks for the rabbit hole called tundras.com. Anyway I am definitely going to trd headlights black trd pro grill black hood scoop black and end caps painted black. My question is should I add the bumper sensors. Has anyone added this to a stock sr5. I feel like it would be a nice feature to have. Also any additional comments would be great on upgrades at this point. Also this is the truck I am trying to copy9370B3B3-0039-4063-A25B-DD3B4C49FCF1.jpg

Note to self. When the truck is at home and I'm off in another vehicle lock the keys up in the safe.

Man, that sucks, but thankfully, everyone is ok!

Yes, at any time of year, we should be thankful for tundras.com

Definitely seems like a great opportunity to check some mods off your list!

My Wife hasn't driven my truck yet, had it since Laborday '18. I think it'll be a while before she drives it...

    Glad everyone ok.

It'll be a good looking truck again.

Good that no one was hurt. A coworker had sensors add after the fact on his 07 so I know it can be done. Blaaaaack!

Damn, that sucks. Glad no one was hurt at least.

Good attitude, going for the silver lining and all. The only thing I would caution you (if you don't already know) on is that the Pro grille in the pic isn't compatible with the sensor in your grille without an aftermarket bracket. Keep us posted (haha, punny) on your progress.

Sensors were stock on my one month old tundra and have assisted in parking such a large vehicle. As a wife, I find them useful; since I have zero depth perception.

I'm glad your family wasn't injured.

I need a prius to ruin my front bumper (maybe rear too) so I can get the addictive designs honey badger.

I like how you think! And that is the perfect gateway mod too. Putting those bumpers on adds enough weight that you really should beef up the suspension, and if you are doing that you might as well get ones that put it at your ideal height, and then you have to have properly sized tires to fill the fenders, and that's the perfect time to get a set of wheels so you can have summer and winter sets....:evil:

HA HA - I am in the queue, and put down the deposit, to install the Fox 2.5 coil over with reservoirs, with SPC upper control arms. I think the front will be leveled.

My truck is 60 miles from the 1000 mile break in and i will try to ruin the stock tires. I felt like I've replaced enough "not broken" parts, so will use the stock tires for now. No more F150s schooling me soon.

:notsure: I am not sure, as I am still on the stock grill, and prefer the honeycomb with color match. I just know that it needs one. Roman's Ultimate OEM thread might have info. I'll look, and link it if I find anything.

I was mistaken about that thread having info... Roman says he has no recommendations. I think that is probably to avoid any liability because he works for a Toyota dealership.

    Flux capacitor!
Glad your family is all ok. That’s the most important thing!

I remember my wife driving my last truck and running over my big clay potted planters near the driveway while I watched her her drive away. She didn’t even realize she did it.

Glad to hear your wife and daughter are safe...and I presume whomever was in the other car.

As I've said in other threads, my mantra lately when people are trying to cut me off is "Give it a try, I want an aftermarket bumper....".

    Good luck with the updates.

Glad everyone’s ok! I’ve never used the parking sensors on my 18’...to me they’re just annoying but I’ve never owned a car so I’m used to knowing how close I am to things even if I can’t see.

Great your ladies are OK. It is good to wrap your precious cargo (daughter/wife) in something heavy like a Tundra instead of a dinky car that weighs a tad over 2K pounds.

Bless my husband's heart...but he is not driving my truck! He's got his 4runner so there is really no reason for it. He is a crazy type A driver! Drives over medians if he decides he wants to turn, damn-near slides sideways into parking spaces, thinks he's 'got time' when turning in front of other vehicles or at yellow lights. I can only imagine what his driving score would be on my toyota phone app. My son got a 68 the other day so now he can't drive it anymore either. So no. Sorry. Not really sorry. Hank is MY truck.

Sounds like your husband learned to drive in SLC... or a prius. Both types are equally bad in my experience. You keep Hank safe!

Love the truck name. My little Jeep before the Tundra was named Hank the Tank cuz he got through stuff I didn't think he would.
