Testing the LED strips at night to gauge the output in the dark. One full 2’ strip per door side is going to be perfect.

I went and picked up a pair today, was a little sketchy at first but he has about eleven more pairs if any one wants clear corners in the area! They also included the orange bulbs which was a plus!

I highly recco the orange bulbs in these clear corners which I really like BTW. Almost went with them last year. FACTOID: OEM Toy sold these originally on Tundras in the southeast only.

I put clear bulbs in my orange side markers and the signal did not stand out very well even with an orange lens. Swapped it right back to new orange bulbs. Safety!

Thanks. That's what we assumed. I wonder how we can get this to pick up the torque converter.

That is a very nice setup. Are you aware of the issue Fox coilovers have with hitting the brake lines on our trucks? There is a fix but wanted to make sure you're aware of it. A few people have lost brakes.

I found it, I seen it before but looked it up, and was instructed to remove the knee panel below the steering wheel, I could have gotten it out by just looking under the knee panel! But so far I like the smart tap! I will have to play with some of the programming

I haven't done jack to my tundra in the last couple of days. She's still waiting for the ecgs needle bearing fix. I did however see a cool looking first gen on the freeway yesterday. It was silver and had a black grill with the chrome trim under the grill painted black. I think it had black wheels too. Looked good and made me miss driving my Tundra.

I run them on my 05 access cab. Somehow they fit fine. Idk why it says 00-03.

04-06 Double Cabs lights are different, possibly (I can't remember off the top of my head} between 04, 05-06 so it's probably easier for them to just 00-03 and not deal with it.

Correct, double cab are different, they're interchangeable with sequoia. Access cab have a slightly different mounting bracket in either 04 or 05, but they can be adapted to use on 03.

Im pretty sure this guy is in person only, with the setup he had he is probably running like a stolen car and parts garage but I hope Im wrong. It was a far-ish drive for me, But I do have to go back in the area next week so Ill message him and see if he is around. Maybe I will buy like 4 pairs and sell them.

That was my next query about the DC, how it differed between the other cabs. But what I found out, others are interchangeable by modifying the bracket on the actual headlight(breaking a retaining pocket basically) but other than that it’s fine.
Are double cabs dual bulb and the other cabs are single or not the case?

I changed out the rear dome light for a VLED setup. The old one was flickering the entire time. I read on here that it had to do with the courtesy setup and not having enough resistance. Changed out to VLED and it works now. This place is awesome!

So I went back and did some refreshing of my memory and they are indeed the same.auto trans as Tacomas. Obviously y'all are right about the 2wd and 4wd part. I believe the A340 for the tundra is beefed up to handle the 245hp and 315tq, because the stock 3.4L 5vzfe only had 190hp 220tq and the supercharged version usually needed the A340 to be modded to handle the 250hp and 270tq by either upgrading the bell housing and/or adding an aux trans cooler. Anyways, as you were :)

Interesting... I'm wondering why so many people swear you need to upgrade it to handle the supercharged 3.4

Add to the list of other Tundra myths you can go back and read from 2003-present.
