Sounds awesome. Only problem was getting pipe off hangers. Grabbed channel locks and wd40 and pulled them over nub that held them on. Dirty deeds pipe bolted right up. Very happy, can't wait to drive to work tomorrow, lol...

Pic looks curved due to panorama shot. Took it to a shop to get it installed. Gasket was no bueno so had to order a new one. All the rusted bolts had to be cut off. Sounds bad ass on the short drive home but can the drone. Hopefully it breaks in a bit when I drive it more.

Edited to say that Keith did warn me that there would be some drone due to the large cabin that the Sequoia has. In a Tundra, the exhaust is behind the cabin and on top of the cab so it doesn't really make its way into the cabin.

I deal with a similar situation, because most of the muffler system on my RCSB is directly beneath the rear of the cabin... only the smallest (8.5") muffler after the Y pipe extends under the bed - just barely though.

Gosh darn it. I saw the mechanic put this hands by the muffler to feel for leaks and he said I was good. Well, I went down today to feel for myself and there was a leak in the side on one of the banks. I'll have to get some sealant and see if that quiets things down a little.

    Trust but verify, right?

    Indeed.

I slid myself back under the truck a week after installing my system, and sure enough I had to adjust & tighten the tailpipe.

Drove it on the highway last night to my brother’s place. Drone on 6th gear at 1800-2000 rpm was unbearable. Shift it down to 5th and stay at 2200 rpm and no drone at all. Regardless of gear, if I stay at 1800 rpm range, there is that annoying drone.

but anyhow, I went and applied the high temp cooper sealant on the sides by the cats. Tightened up the bolts, started up the car and didn’t feel any leaks. Next time I’m on the highway, I’ll see if that drone is still there by 1800 rpms. Fingers crossed

Alright, Alright.... installed the 8 inch today without the resonator. I assume the hoopla is about the noise level at 1500 RPM at 60 MPH....am I correct? Anyway's, sounds fckn amazing and I swear it improved my performance as well. Back to the resonator....I am not currently planning on using it as the noise at 1500/60 is just not that bad. I will let the system settle in a while to be sure. Bottom line....I could not be happier with my "new" truck!
    Thanks

    My experience...

Kieth is a solid guy. Business man? Sure. But when you talk with him, you know you're dealing with an enthusiast as well. Very refreshing.
FedEx delivered my system on the date indicated, but not until 10:47pm. The box was dumped on my front stairs and looked like poop when I found it the next morning.
Finally had a chance to install it yesterday.
Pulling out the stock muffler was pretty straight forward. (Hangers are a PITA!)
Set the Dirty Deeds 6" Muffler on the rear hanger first, then on to the front. Wait, what? There's no way this is going to fit!
The front hangers are about 14" apart and the hanger arms on the new muffler are maybe 11". Seriously?
Then it hit me. The box was mangled, remember?
After closer inspection, I recognized that both arms had been bent during shipping. :annoyed:
    What's Kieth's number again?
Nevermind, it's Sunday on a holiday weekend. Everyone deserves a break.
Calling on my inner "MacGyver" I reached for the compact floor jack.
After a little maneuvering and a few pumps, blammo, 14"!!
Muffler went right in now that we were back on spec.

I've experienced exhaust drone in the past and had no interest in it this time around.
Rather than testing and seeing if it existed, I went straight to the resonator install.
Dropping the spare allowed easy access to the entire area and I drilled the hole with the tailpipe in place (patience young Skywalker...).
Buttoned everything up and we're in business!

Haven't had it on the freeway yet. Start-up and surface street driving only.
I really dig this system. As mentioned, I went with the 6". It's subtle at idle, but you know it's not stock.
Driving around town is even better. More right foot and the smiles widen. Cool, but never obnoxious.

Thanks again to Kieth and the guys at DirtyDeeds.
Fabulous muffler, awesome "group buy" and, I imagine, a Herculean effort cranking out the product.

    Happy Holidays!

I can't wait much longer. :annoyed:

I've been standing at the end of the driveway waiting for delivery since the group buy ended. It doesn't help that I may have been the last order placed.

Haha, me too. Only took me almost 2 weeks after the group buy was over to figure it out. I was being VERY patient :D Luckily for me, Keith is a stand-up guy and didn't punish me for my stupidity. Definitely an awesome deal!

I sometimes think of putting on the resonator, and them some idiot cuts me off and I get a chance to hear what this 8 inch Dirty Deeds Exhaust sounds like, and i say, f#%k the resonator with a big ass grin. I get people in Tundras and Tacos pulling up beside me in rush hour traffic with their windows down listening to this exhaust. No shit. I looked in my rear view the other day and had 2 tacos behind me, drivers window down, and a tundra on passenger side, so naturally when traffic opened up I let them hear it... Keith, we might need some dirty deeds stickers... And your exhaust sounds unlike any other, a nice deep rumble when your behaving, then look out, lol. This exhaust was easy to install, great online installation video. This exhaust was worth every penny i spent on it!
