    Hello all, I’m Wade.

Just joined the Tundra page, but I’ve been on Tacoma World since 2015. I’ve been driving Toyota from day one, which has created my brand loyalty. I’m looking into a Tundra for my DD, and keep the Taco with all the mods as an RV. Any information or buying guidance that you have is welcome.

    Thanks,
    Wade.

I did the opposite of you; my Tacoma is my daily driver and I off-road with my Tundra.

Do you know which package you’re eyeing?

I’d prefer the Rock Warrior, but that’s not set in stone. My current list of criteria is as follows:
    - less than 10 years old
    - under $35k
    - under 100k mileage
    - no accidents/salvage title
    - the fewer previous owners the better
    - preferably somewhere between Denver and Salt Lake, I’m just about at the middle of that in Grand Junction
Any of these can be improved upon, but that’s the search so far

I know what you mean I’ve got my tundra I’ve been throwing parts on and a little 07 Tacoma that I daily drive. It’s the perfect pair!

I’m in GJ, but I grew up in Littleton. It’s been a slow migration west through Leadville and Gunnison.

GJ is nice to say the least. Gateway to Moab! Have you dealt any with Alcan springs?

When I put my last springs on I went from General to OME’s. If I SAS the Taco I’ll likely go Alcan, but that will also include 35’s or bigger. Hence I want a Tundra first, and the Taco can be for the mountains and desert trips.

As a word of advice stay away from General Springs, they’re garbage. I’ll find the thread on TW after work and post the link.

Yep Alcan is definitely good stuff, I drive right by the shop frequently. One day I’ll have a set.
