I'm looking for steps for my truck other than the factory. Looking for ones that suck up closer to the body than factory.....tried searching already. Show me what you got.

May wait to do sliders but really don't use the truck offroad per se, just crappy deer lease roads.

If you want it sucked up to the body then sliders fit the bill, but there's very little drop down. Not the best "step" per say. If you just want something to step up onto to kick the mud or snow off your boots, then a slider would work.
I went with RCI Offroad for skids and sliders, and I think they are having a sale this month.

Simple steps that are inexpensive but look good if you don't need sliders.
Quality seems good also. I like mine.

Edit: Because these are triangular shaped the brackets don't hang down below the bars like the factory steps. Cleaner look.

Those look like they'd get as slick as the stock ones with snow or mud. also, me being in PA, would be concerned about long term rust... Would love to luck into some black SS or Aluminum drop steps on craigslist...

These N-fab sliders have removable steps and install is a breeze. Got em from Carid:

20190717_083540.jpg I really like my Tyger steps. They fit a lot closer than the factory steps did. I believe they were $289 from Tyger Auto.

I just finished shortening the brackets in the factory bars so they are closer to the body, raised 1” in the front and 2” in the rear then 1 1/2” closer

I would like to see how you did this, do you have a side view and picture of how you shortened the mounting brackets up?

Following as well. I hate the way my steps line up on the body. Good thread.

I have the same ones for a D/C. and love them. Believe it or not, my better half insisted i buy these because of her beautiful inferior shortness, what do i tell her after the mods? :monocle:

    Still rolling stock baby....
I had removed the factory steps that came on mine, since I thought they were to low. Then I had a OME suspension installed and re installed the factory steps, now they look about right LOL...

So theres a option for you @mww982

I also have the nice factory steps in my 2017. They’re a lot better with the lift. My 2019 came with the crappy narrow steps...
I don’t like them much but it’s a lease so whatever... I’ll deal with it. Can’t figure out how to rotate this. Sorry for the side view.

Dont know what brand mine are but i dont think theyre OEM, they came with the truck from the dealership. No gap, plenty of stepping space. Quality seems great. Aside from it making my truck appear a little lower, i love em
