    Guys

Looking online at some new Tundras. I saw a SR5 Doublecab they are calling TSS Offroad. It has black 20 inch wheels and tires. I called on the truck and they said it's really just a SR5 with black 20 inch wheels and tires. Seems a little confusing they call it TSS Off Road? Anyone have this truck? Aren't they all TSS equipped? I must admit I do like the black 20' wheels.

TSS isn’t Toyota safety sense....it stands for Toyota Sport Series. It’s just a package...

    TSS Off Road includes:
-20" Milled Matte Black Wheels and All-Terrain Tire Upgrade (replaces factory wheels and tires)
    -5" Black Oval Step Tube
    -Black Exhaust Tip
    -All-weather floor liners
    -TSS Off-Road Bed Decal
    -Matte Black badge overlays

Thanks for clearing that up! Why are they calling this TSS Off road? Because of the AT tires? Also where did you find that info?

Mine has the TSS package, its a appearance add on package as described by another member. They are a dime a dozen in these parts.

TSS is a regional package. It is one if many appearance packages. Dumb that they call it TSS as that is also the Acronym for Toyota Safetey Sense, but has absolutely nothing to do with the "TSS Package."

Similar to the xp, sxp, xsp-x , and sx. Some add color keys grills, with chrome bumpers, some color bumper with chrome grills. Shine with chrome wheels, shine with black 20" wheels.

If you liked the wheels and sticker and the price is right. Get get it. Or get an SR5 with steel wheels and drs it up yourself. Tss sticker won't make the truck ride or handle better.

2020 sr5 comes standard with dynamic cruise control, lane departure and anti-front collision. Toyota Safety Sense.

I do like the look of the 20 inch black wheels. Anyone have the 20 inch? Hows the handling and ride with that bigger wheel? Noticeable harsher ride?

Have a 2016 TSS with the 20 inch wheels and love it. Rides great, been on a few long drives so far and no issues.

20" with shorter sidewall will ride firmer than the 18" sidewall. The suspension are the same. If you you plan to off road, go with 18". I'f you only drive on highways go with 20" it's all based on your application and likes.

Shorter sidewall will turn in better than taller sidewall. It will feel more responsive.

Remember, it's going ti be your truck, not ours. Buy what you want and enjoy it!

I have stock 20" wheels on my TRD Sport it rides nice and smooth on the pavement, no off roading around here unless you count the NY roads as off roading.
I also got a set of the 20" TSS wheels which I love, haven't put them on yet.

The TSS 'package' came years before the Toyota Safetey Sense nanny stuff.

Pretty much sums it up, but my 2014 SR5 DC the exhaust tip and badges were chrome.
Also my floor mats were carpet with a TSS logo.
    It is all cosmetic stuff.

Only remaining TSS package item I have now is the wheels.

-20" Milled Matte Black Wheels and All-Terrain Tire Upgrade
Love the wheels, but hate the +55 offset replaced the stock 285/55/20 KOs with 275/60/20 KO2s.
My next tire will be Cooper AT3 XLT.

    -5" Black Oval Step Tube
Pulled the OEM tubes and replaced with AMP Power steps, couldn't give the stock tubes away although I tried.
Ending up putting them out for garbage pickup after 6 months of taking up space in my garage.

    -Stainless Exhaust Tip
Added a long welded on chrome tip when I bought my BAM.

    -All-weather floor liners
Replaced my carpet TSS mats with Husky Xacts

    -TSS Off-Road Bed Decal
Removed with a 3M eraser wheel the day I brought it home.

    -Chrome badges
Removed the SR5 and tundra badges that same day.
    Kept the i-Force 5.7 badge, wouldn't want anyone to think I'd bought a 4.6....:eek2:
