    Of all the fancy tailgates out there, I like the one on the Ridgeline that drops down and swings out the best.

    My dad got a new Sierra with the pro gate. All I can say is it is pretty sweet. Nicer to sit on, get in the truck, or just grab items out. Everyone has to hate when another brand makes something that they don't have just to make their decision seem better. That said I did buy a Tundra for reliability and the power it has. Do I wish they had more of the technology the big 3 have, yes. I mean I did spend a lot more than a few people I know with Ford or Chevy and have a lot less features that I have to add and pay for myself.

    I guess it depends on which features you're looking for. I just ordered a 2020 SR5 for about $45k CAD out the door. A Sierra SLE would be about $10k more and can't be had with bucket seats. Sierra Elevation (cheapest way to get bucket seats and 10 speed transmission with the 5.3) would be $10k more than that. F-150 XLT loaded up the way I like it is around $55k as well.

    Yes, I have to agree. Sometimes the swing out is better for loading. Can't be that hard to add to a Tundra. Didn't the old station wagons many years ago have this?

    I think several GM wagons had multi hinged tail gates.

    I remember there were two handles. If you pulled the center handle the gate would drop down, pull the handle on the left it would swing to the right.
