Sabm (Gtek-Fab), Blake Carbon Diamond Plate door sil protecters, and Air Dam mod, Black Rivited Grill, Devil Horns- Black Anodized(Diaz Fabrication), Hid's in Low Beams and Fogs -6000k, Piaa Extreme for High Beams. What's up everyone, started doing some small mods, have been over on Tundra Geeks, I think there mostly so cal owners, anyway here's a few things i've done. Sabm airbox mod, Dsps, Black Mesh Rivited Grill from Amazon. Painted diamond plate toolbox black, Rhino Step tubes. Plasta dipped my battery harness. I have 2.5 leveling kit from Supreme Suspensions, waiting to purchase bigger rims and tires. There are plenty more mods to do just finding the time and money. Thinking of Plasta dipping my badges black, but my truck is a darker blue and don't know if that's gonna look good, any thoughts or opinions would be great Thanks

    Good start on the mods.

I agree the plastidipped badges may not stand out against the color of your Tundra.

Thanks Bob, gonna do the badge in back on tailgate, that's what's so great about this product, peel it right off.

Your badges Plasti-dipped on your Tundra would rock.

What are your thoughts about the SABM airbox mod? Added HP? Louder sound? No difference?

Blown away guys, but I have the 4.7 so it's really gave it some life. I got on it and no hesitation like before and sounds badass. For the money it's a no brainer. Paired with the Ba Muffler from Dirty Deeds it's gonna be nice imop. Thanks TT-Truck in, just needed someone to say that. I don't know about main bumpers and Plasta dipping, y'all think it will hold up or should I get them powder coated. Any thoughts?

Plasti dip will hold up...maybe 7 layers on the bumper.

I'm done with plastdip and would prefer paint or powder cost.

Powder coated for sturdy long lasting and perminent.
Plastidip for cheap and removable. Plastidip will last a long time but may need some repair from scratches over time. Good thing is it can be repaired easily, or just peal it off and repaint.

Plasti dip is cool and I have used it a lot on my truck but if you're going to put it on a large area of your truck it won't look a good as powder coating will.

Yeah thanks for your opinions, I concur, looked into powder coating, about $175-200 per bumper.

Ok did a few things this wknd, plasta dipped the rest of my badges, swapped out interior lights with blue leds. My wife asks are you pimping your ride and I said absolutely. Waiting on my ami black Bullitt racing fuel door. Put down black Weather Tech floor mats, nice product. I have a long way to go but fun doing it. Thanks to all and the great advice and awesome Tundras.

Got my Devil Horns from Diaz Fabrication, I like. I didn't know how the black anodized would turn out, but I'm blacking most of my truck anyway. Opinions welcome and don't sugar coat it I need some honest opinions. Thanks

Continuing some mods, had to take advantage of the warm weather. I'm not gonna lie, but went the cheap route with Drls. Got them at auto zone for half the price of the plazma glows. 2 strips and a fuse tap to my ign and here you are. Also installed the piaa extreme for high beams. uploadfromtaptalk1424646064706.jpguploadfromtaptalk1424646081756.jpg

Where did you purchase your leds from... is that basically a simple swap? Does the blue get a little annoying on your eyes, or hinder you in finding something at night? I like the fuel door idea too!

Yeah I got rid of the blue and went with white. You can get them on eBay cheap. You get all the bulbs for your map, lights in the overhead backseat, for the lights in your doors, and for your license plate. Be careful with pulling them out and putting them in. You may have to flip them around. Be sure to disconnect negative cable, which I know you already knew. Yeah got the fuel door from auto anything, nice add on and fairly simple to install. Hope this helps

Wait I don't have lights in the doors. Just red reflectors. Is that a limited thing? Can't tell what package you have on tapatalk.
