Yes, it's great. Can listen to 2 different frequencies at the same time. Basically, I can have Bastrds on one channel and SGU on another. I don't do it that way but you get the idea. I'm really good at screwing up comms in the middle of a run. So, I can have our frequency on twice. If I accidentally hit the wrong button I can shift over to the other side of the radio and restore comms without looking away from the trial.
I have the radio chasis mounted beneath the driver seat and the face mounted on the left of the steering wheel. I have the mic connected to the base and it clips to the dash beneath the stereo. The mic can be plugged into either the base chasis or the face.
I'd also recommend the Uniden bearcat 3" external speaker for $20.

Yep, I did that too. @GodlessPro is our most knowledgeable radio guy. I followed his recommendations and have been extremely pleased.

 

Found a better deal on Nitro gears thru Boss4x4s, have to message them thru facebook or email them for a list of their specials. Gears are $969 for the full install kit, front and rear.

 

Yes. I used a cheap ass "L" bracket, drilled a couple of holes and mounted the antenna and bracket to the bed rail. You can also get a magnetic mount, run the cable through a back window and stick the antenna on your roof.

 

They're great to deal with too, where I got my gears.

There are rubber grommets beneath the front seats. I ran the antenna cable there and it currently comes up between the bed and cab.

 

Erick is Da Man!!!! I just went through him for gears (5.29’s) and I had ELockers from Harrop to install. He did a lot of work for me helping setup Cryogenic treatment, installation and communication with me throughout the whole ordeal. Nothing but praise for him!

I believe you would still save on tax since they are in Florida. Probably drop shipped from Nevada too. Hell of a deal, wish I waited and went ADS.

 

I think the tax across state lines is no longer applicable....there was a change in laws about that.

These guys ship from japan directly, and shipping is bloody expensive, but minus the bolt and u nut you need from lowes to finish this build, you are looking at 85 bucks plus the rather expensive shipping (30 bucks to TN with some other parts i need added in there).

Color Code B0 is for gray interior trim panels, E0 is for the sand beige tan interior.

 

I agree but that's not always the case still to this day. Wouldn't hurt to check and save yourself a bundle.

And then you need a mounting bracket of some sort. That's it, nothing else needed that I can remember.

 

this is good to know. won't be shopping there since I don't know if they jacked the prices on some things I was checking out. maybe they are trying to pay for the new building they moved in
