Too bad about the night vision. That set up looked clean. You could always rig up some leds to turn on in reverse. It's super easy to do.

Well got the ko2's in 305/65-17 put. Less rubbing than I was getting on the 285/70 grabber. They measure 32.5" tall 12.4" wide. Just need to clean her up an get bull bar an light bar installed this weekend!

OCD continues to kick in while I “refresh” it. Living by a Toyota parts department helps, $10 high mount lens to replace the yellowing original.

Bilstein’s should be in today, hopefully on next week sometime.

This squeaky brake pedal has become very annoying. I just blasted some silicone spray on the parts that appear to move but I really have no idea what part is capable of making this noise. Will report back of this worked once I drive it again.

So I know this is an issue on old Tacoma clutch pedals. Iirc it's a spring that's worn out that squeeks.

Squeezed in one more item on the checklist, cleaned up the engine bay. Gunk Foamy and Shine did the trick, $10 at Autozone.

I did see a big black spring attached to the pedal and sprayed it. Seems unlikely that it could make noise like this though. :notsure:

I'm an anal SOB when it comes to this. Hate dirty engine bays. That looks so much better.

Looks like that brake fluid is due next.

This is what I’m currently doing. The dynomat and foam is a great idea. Are you changing colors on the headliner at all? How long did they say for reupholstering? Seems like it should be cheap and easy. Thanks

It’s just a day thing for the reupholstering, same color,

Despite not having any cutting tools I'm going to find a way to cut this plastic tomorrow. Tired of my tires rubbing them in reverse. I'm assuming this plastic originally had some hardware that kept it tucked behind the bumper but not anymore.

I spent some time last Saturday doing the exact same thing on my 03. I was able to trim the liner behind the fogs using some scissors. I trimmed up to the only remaining liner mount that sits above the fluid tank. I used my grinder to trim up the thicker bumper plastic at the bottom corners. No rubbing now with the 285/75/16. Not sure why I even took the time as I'm going to rip off that 03 front end and replace it with the 02 grille and steel bumper setup I just got delivered. Haha! Practice I guess.

Good thing my old my 20 something year old toro 2 stroke snowblower started easily this year. I actually don't remember if I used it last year or not. A quick clean of the bowl, some starting fluid, and a fresh plug made it roar like it was no more than 15. It was so nice outside I decided to pull the tundy out for a quick look at the sliders. I can still smell the bedliner paint on my clothes from last night!
