The Tundra driver’s side mirror has a horrible blind spot. After trying numerous tiny adhesive type blind spot mirrors, both round and rectangular I took a chance on the Toro 1 split mirror. They work great. The reflection is better than the stock mirrors. They cost around $65 per mirror but well worth it. I just purchased another mirror for the passenger side. These are the best blind spot mirrors I have found.

Been annoyed by this since my first tundra. I feel like I saw some convex inserts for the tundra mirrors somewhere that also might be worth a look.

    Not nearly enough room here!
Caption says we loose our turn signal function, right?

Looks like you don't have turn signals and blind spot monitoring with these. Great idea, maybe the next version will have these.

If I’m honest with myself, I’m going to end up ordering these regardless of what I hear of the install. Might as well get it over with!

I'd do it but I don't want to loose my signals on the mirrors.

I've had these for about 6 months now. Install is really pretty easy. I put a couple of layers of painter's tape on the mirror housing and using a wide trim removal tool you just pry straight up on the mirror. Prying up releases the tabs that lock into the backing plate. It sounds like the tabs are breaking when they let loose but they're not. Unplug the heat wires and the mirror is out. Plug the wires into the new mirror, align the locking tabs and using the trim tool, pry straight down from the top to engage the locking tabs back into the backing plate. If I remember correctly there's an installation video on their website.

These are on sale, plus a 20% discount (black Friday) right now. I have been watching for a sale and now ordered. This is a double sale. Not affiliated, just watching for the right sale.

Try Emailing them and see if they will honor a backorder. I emailed them a few weeks back asking if they will have a discount price and they let me know about this sale yesterday. I did get shipping confirmation this AM so there was stock but they may have had a run on them with this sale & discount. Very good price with the sale and discount IMO and we'll see after installing. I have some small rectangular convex mirrors that do a decent job, I'm hoping these mirrors do an even better job with more coverage.

Mine arrived today. Very nice packaging and instructions. The mirrors seem to be a high quality and the outer convex mirror section has nice adjustment. I'll be installing tomorrow after work and provide some feedback on fit, install, and initial feedback on coverage. I really like improvement the small rectangular convex mirrors provided as far as seeing someone in my blind spot. I have to believe with a larger convex mirror the coverage will be even better. Then it's a question on how they hold up and defrost.

I guess I'm not seeing the issue. I have the BSM feature on my Tundra and that is pretty good at alerting me to blind spot issues. I've only had problems with the large area on the passenger side mirror mount blocking vision when I pull out. I have to check a few times to be sure I'm clear.

weird i was just looking at these mirrors early this morning and then found this thread. wish i had purchased with the BF coupon. IMO the stock mirrors are crap, and like the size of a sedan mirror. Might pull the trigger on these and see how they go.
