    Hey guys I have a 2002 tundra with a 5 inch lift on 33x12.50x18. I have looked everywhere and I've seen the 4.7L supercharged (4.7L) not (5.7L)
but I can't find one anywhere... would any of y'all happen to know where I could get my hands on one???

I believe there was a guy on here who bought one for the 4.7 but had a 4.6.

I can't find his posts, but from what I remember I don't think he gave many updates as to what he was going to do with it, etc.

Sounds like you'll be keeping it for a while after all the investments!

That member bought it a while ago, it's probably gone by now but you never know. Many of us were following his situation because he bought it cheap and at first we all thought it was for the 5.7 and he had the 4.6, guys were making offers like crazy.

@Sean266 does this ring a bell? He also bought a TRD exhaust from the same guy. There was an unofficial auction going on before it was posted for sale haha.

And they did make a supercharger for the 4.7 but they're rare. I believe the one joem1 had the chance to buy was for a 4.7.

As far as power output? No.

There will be differences between the two based on components, however, Magnuson wanted to fill the gap that TRD closed with a comparable long lasting SC.

They were parts that I paid for but never actually saw. Kept getting the run around on everything. I wasn't even mad that it wasn't going to fit my truck, I actually planned on just selling it for a profit. Was STILL getting the run around 2 weeks later, was offered my money back because he "felt bad it wouldn't fit on my truck", so I took it and ran. I considered myself lucky at that point to not be out of any money. Was a damn shame.

If your lucky you can find them used on eBay from time to time but that's rare, I also looked for one for the longest for my 4.7 but I only came across used ones and never new. Toyota discontinued them in the early 2000's because they keeped on bending rods in the 4.7, when I learned that tab bit of information I gave up my search for one.

Just a few, more to come
This. They were discontinued due to bending/throwing rods and the engine grenading. I was wanting a superharger for my 4.7L powered 4Runner, but stopped looking after reading this all over. Currently just doing intake/exhaust to help as much as possible short of forced induction.

I had herd that the problem was that the tundra and sequoia were built in the US. The engines were built with a low quality connecting rod. The 4runner was built in japan and was built with a higher quality connecting rod. So if you want the to use a supercharger, one has to install good quality connecting rods. I may be wrong, but I would love to get my hands on a supercharger and find out. Also my truck weighs about 1000 lbs. lighter than a stock tundra, give or take.
