I like to go through the older threads sometimes, you never know what you may find out. That got me thinking, 1 thread where you can find tips & tricks that either made your truck run better or just something else you may have tried whether or not it worked would be useful information.

I finally got around to removing that charcoal air filter in the air box. I wish I would have done it sooner, better pedal response and the ole but Dyno said I may have gained a few ponies.

    What do you got?

Dyno on my truck and plan to upgrade the transmission and torque converter based on results. Can't wait!

Sorry, don't have a response for midget strippers or intestinal parasites. Am I even on the right thread??

Open the air box, you will see the filter that you would replace normally. Take the lid off and take a look, there is another filter in that lid.

Also since your in there, clean the maf with the appropriate spray

And a few other things. That maf is very sensitive. I have learned to not use air filters that are oiled, it will spit some of that oil down the intake and may affect the maf and throttle body.
