Yes, the resonator needs that extra 24" of tailpipe to work properly... I replaced the resonator with a blocking plate that Keith sent me and all is well.

They’re pretty close to the same weight. Sure fire way to tell is a magnet on the tubing. Other parts will attract a magnet. But the pipe never does

Sorry for being a ghost guys. We are finally catching up with business, life, etc. haha

we are down to the last 40 systems. ALL parts are cut. Mufflers are packed n tacked. Half of them are tig welded. Rear flanges made. Front flanges welded.
We’re supposed to be assembling and welding all week this week. Paint n pack Thursday and Friday. But...... totally rained out!!!!

I have one guy whom will be working over the weekend to make up. One can’t and is leaving next week Wednesday for thanksgiving. I have another guy not sure what his schedule is.

all ‘excuses’ aside. We need a day of one guy nothing but tig welding mufflers. And a solid 2 days 2 guys assembling and welding. And a solid day n a half 3 guys painting and packing.

this will happen hopefully between Friday and Wednesday. If it’s not totally done before thanksgiving, it will for sure be the week after thanksgiving.

I’ll update end of this week guys. Thanks for the patience.

Thanks for the update Keith @dirtydeeds. Looking forward to receiving mine but totally understand that with the Holidays, people are busy and need time off. That’s way more important!

Nice. Maybe my Husband won’t notice. Lol

Got mine today, put it on in half an hour crawling around on a wet driveway. I got the 8" SS and so far I'm liking the sound. Have resonator but running without for now.
Did anyone else get an extra gasket with their order?

Mine came with a single gasket to replace the one between the muffler system and the tailpipe. Is that what you are talking about?

Yes. You could have reused the stock one, though.

Look what showed up. I suspect i was sent the wrong one, and that mine was sent to a different person. The one coming to me was intercepted and then this one was shipped from Georgia. The gasket looks to be crushed though. When I install it, I'll see if I can reuse the current one.

Well, install is not happening lol. The 14mm bolt is rusted beyond anything. The 14mm socket was going to round off the bolt and I could maybe fit a 13mm in there and try it. I was getting nausea for the few minutes I was lying down on my back trying to get those bolts off. Also looks like the cat and muffler may be rusted together so I think I'll bring it to a shop and have them do it for me.

Been enjoying mine and plan to install the resonator tomorrow when the driveway dries out. However, even though everything seems to have lined up perfectly during the install, I have a ticking sound that I never had before. I haven’t crawled under to locate yet because I only think of it when the system is but it’s annoying. Might I need to get a gasket for the two connections to the header system? Thanks in advance!

Put your hands around all joints at first start up in the morning. See if you feel exhaust blowing on your hands.

My 8 inch muffler is on a FedEx truck and it's out for delivery. So sometime today it's getting installed... Air compressor is plugged in and waiting...
