I installed recently, a TRD PRO Dual exhaust, added a drivers side assist handle and pillar, put the black TUNDRA sticker on the tailgate, N-FAB steps and lastly I added the 1st 1000 miles on the speedo!

I added some more helpful install info on the handle and pillar install on the thread selling my stock muffler

After 7 hours and a trip to auto zone to rent a spring compressor and buy a long 22mm wrench, I completed the install of the Icon coilovers and upper control arms. Gained an additional half inch on each side over the leveling spacer that came on the truck. Going to go get an alignment on Monday morning from Firestone.

I love it!! When I get mine, I'll have a shop do the install, but great job!

Yeah, I debated having 4 wheel parts Install, But they wanted around 600 for install and alignment. With all the parts I and stuff I have ordered this month I needed to save the $450 of install labor.

Was it a hard install, I am a bit mechanically inclined, installed rear shock before but never front! I will order the coils shock assembly installed and set!

    Great job on yours!

After finishing i realized If I had loosened the lower control arm bolts and possibly the front swaybar it would have allowed for more room and easier removal and install of the coilovers.the upper control arms were easy other than breaking free the thru bolt - I was hanging on the wrench before it finally loosened.

Re-adjusted the coil-overs this morning after driving it just a bit last night. I have 2-1/8" of threads visible above the adjustable collar. Before installing the Icons I took measurements from the hub center to the fender. I did have a leveling kit installed for the before measurements. I forgot to measure the rear before the lift. Also modified the front plastic inner fender where the tires rubbed - buying a heat gun so I can move the plastic a little further away from the tire at full lock.

    Before:
    Driver front - 24.0"
    Passenger Front - 24.5"

    After:
    Driver front - 24.5"
    Passenger Front - 24.75"
    Driver rear - 26.0"
    Passenger rear - 26.25"

Nice, so when you are driving during the day will that LED act as the stock non led driving light that stays on as the safety feature!

Correct. And it switches to amber as a directional. It's 5k white as a running light though

Nice job Chris. That $450 savings by doing the labor yourself can be used elsewhere. Plus you get the satisfaction of saying you did your own install. Nice thing about those shocks, you can dial in the ride height if you want to get both sides matchy matchy. Truck looks great. How's the ride ?

Is the 6000k brighter or just bluish color, also as a day time driving light will the 5k be brighter then the stock amber light

Also, do they have something like this for the rear brake/turn signal lights!

Sorry for dumb questions and thanks

They worked fine for 2 months, then 1 bulb stopped working as a switchback (stopped blinking) so I emailed VLeds for warranty information (which is great) and before I even complied with their request the other bulb stopped working as a DRL. I ended up having both bulbs replaced free of charge. I then decided to wait until my retrofits arrived before installing the new bulbs, but once I did I found 1 of those won't light up as a DRL. In my frustration I ended up pulling everything out and going back to my OEM ambers. When I get the chance I'm going to try and troubleshoot them to give them one last shot.

That sucks man - I hate easy installs that go bad! I find it interesting that my Harley learns my new LEDS and doesn't require a resistor to be put in line. Cutting wires seems to be a silly solution. Of course it could be a Toyota problem and not a bulb problem...

Not sure it's a Toyota problem or what but seems like there are members who have had better luck with these. The quality of the bulbs look first class, just don't know why I've had problems with them.
