Sorry on the 15% assumption. The discount code "pre15" discount code confused me.

As for if they are shipping the next day, this photo will tell you . I ordered them a week ago today.

As for mid to late November for delivery, the assumption is that they will ship earlier if available. You kept offering excuses as to why they couldn't ship. I simply let you know that they (TRS) are shipping immediately. That tells me that the orders are being held for some reason. I have a feeling on why they are being held, but I won't state it here in the open.

I was going on my merry way after you cancelled my order for me.

I was going to drop it and not post back in this thread. But I had to let you know that either TRS is blowing smoke up your ass, or you are blowing smoke as to why the orders are not shipping when the product is available. I have my theory, but I will keep it to myself.

These are great lights but if you got a good retrofit then don't even bother as you'll lose alot of light output. These are bright but still can't compare to retrofits

Reading this really has me questioning my purchase.............

 

A few members posted very early on in the thread a few hints of this being a caveat emptor situation / seller. I hope it works out for those who did participate in this "group buy"

 

Already sent refunds and canceled orders got those who are sceptical. Cancelation is and has always been open I'll be posting order numbers for the ones that shipped in case people didn't receive shipping confirmation. As stated earlier also there won't be any more group buys or sales

 

I've tried to stay silent and avoid addressing the negativity here, but its getting silly.

The terms of the GB were outlined. Everyone knew exactly what they were ordering and the time frames expected. This whole instant gratification thing where you want everything now is just ridiculous. I've been a vendor who organized numerous GBs at the mercy of drop-shipping many moons ago, and not too long ago a non-vendor who organized a GB for an NSX owners group, and I have never seen people so ungrateful for the discount and attack the vendor like this.

Y'all need to chill. The negative minority here is way too vocal.

Not working correctly for me.I have a 2017 crew max sr5 with the factory orange drl.HR told me I need the Toyota part 81980-0C020 turn flasher relay ,that goes in cab in left side of the dash to take away that orange drl.Did that then installed the Morimoto lights per video instructions and installed fuse tap.Drl,low and high beam work.But turn on the turn signal and it hyperflashes so its not working right.Did everything HR told me to do and turn signal not working properly.The stock lights work fine with the new flasher turn signal box I installed.So I’m stumped.Both Morimoto right and left are hyperflashing.Does anyone know how to fix this had to take them out and reinstall stock lights not happy with them at the moment.

 

Did TRS provide you with any estimate as to when they expect all orders to be fulfilled? Something to temper expectations? If its going to be several weeks for all to be complete, I can live with that as long as I know that's the case ahead of time.

Who is HR? Did you try the Morimotos without the flasher relay?

 

Yes all orders should be completed within the next few weeks. There were alot more orders than expected. We're also dealing with UPS because of a few lost packages

 

Headlight revolution,and no I did not try them with the old flasher relay I was warned that could cause damage and I’m told the new flasher relay i installed is correct for my application on 2017 crew max sr5.Talked to them today and he is sending me different kind of resistors to mount to the back of the Morimoto headlights to get rid of hyperflash turn signal.I have spyder taillights in the rear.Tech guys said all issues are not ironed out yet because of them being so new.I hope the different resistors they are sending me work this will be second time mounting them on the truck,I’ll let everyone know the outcome.

 

I was told that "issue was fixed after the very first production run of these lights." when I submitted the question asking about the warning light on the dash on vehicles with factory LED DRL lights. I was also told if they do cause the light I can return for a full refund within 45 days of receipt.

 

Yes they said I can return them but I want them to work did not buy them to just send em back but yes I’m not happy with it for sure

 

I haven't received any reports of issues with the dash light or any other issues. I'd say it could just be a defect in the lights you received. Since it's warrantied return them and get a new set. It's A PITA to constantly remove the lights but if it's warrantied why not take advantage of it if your not happy with the current lights because of issues

 

have you try re-installing oem tailights and try again ?

 

I don’t have the oem taillights.The truck was sold to me with spyder taillights installed.Tech said that they have seen this issue on the 4Runner Morimoto lights.Drl,low,and high beam work.From all I have read up on it seems to be a resistor issue sending the turn signals into hyper flash on sequential mode.So that’s why tech is sending me a different resistor to mount to the back of the Morimoto headlight.I will change out the resistor when I get them and try again,I’ll keep everyone informed,I will try that for sure before I return them if they don’t work ,I will not try a 3rd time

"Hey buddy! I have some bad news. TRS changed their dealer policies on us for the xb headlights and pricing right when they orders are being shipped. So I am canceling your order and refunding your money. They increased our dealer price tremendously and I am not losing money from this group buy. Sorry for the wait and hope you understand!"

UNACCEPTABLE! Promise people a product and then send some BS private message how pricing went up and orders need to be cancelled?! These were purchased by the seller in advance to fill all the orders for the group buy, no? First thing I did was call another dealer of these lights and was told totally different information. I'll share that information at a later date if need be.

I hope I get my refund because the credit card I used to buy these lights two months ago was lost last week and the card was deactivated by the issuer. Now how will I get my money back? Sent emails and PM's to seller with no response as of yet........

All dealers received the same email for the new trs policies on these headlights. If they tell you otherwise then they are not a dealer. When you ordered (beginning of October) lights was not in stock anywhere as trs was waiting for the shipment. They received the shipment last week of October and orders started shipping on Nov 8th. There were alot of orders. There's an important reason why trs changed their policies on the Xb Headlights for dealers as other dealers were violating the policies. I don't like it either, but because of the price increase I have to cancel orders.

It's business and unfortunately there's nothing I can do about it. It's like the previous post, instead of people appreciating me offering a discount they complain about waiting after they read the terms.

Originally the orders was supposed to start shipping next week per the terms of the group buy. But I managed to get other orders out.

As far as lightwerkz, I'm sure when their stock runs out their price will change as well. They stocked a few before the changes were made but all dealers have to follow the new policies

This was bullshit from the beginning. There was question raised to your accountability from the very beginning with another group member saying they couldn't believe you were allowed to sell on here anymore because you had screwed over people in past.

You should be removed from this group, and honestly have to give some form of reimbursement for wasting everyone's time.

Now we have the holidays coming up and everyone is slowing down at work, so where I was planning on having my lights installed already I now have to wait until next year to order them again.
