Very tasty my friend. I like it a lot better than regular Gingerbread. Chris have you been lucky enough to come across the Hearty Wood (Kentucky Christmas Morning) , I heard that was even better than the gingerbread. Salute!

You gotta get their gingerbread stout when they release it. Insanely good.

Brother got me a six pack for Christmas. Land Grant Beard Crumbs oatmeal raisin stout. Local Columbus brewery.
Thought I'd like it because of the beard. LOL
I have to say it is pretty tasty.

I've got a couple bottles of the Kentucky Christmas morning but I haven't tried it yet. Hardywood is right up the street from me so I was able to score all of their stouts this year except for Foolery.

Has anyone ever shipped out beer? I'm sure cans should be fine.
Just wondering if anyone would like to get into some beer exchanges? For the most part, I like a ton of Cali, local breweries and don't mind venturing into other breweries from mid-west, east coast.

Technically I believe it is illegal to ship beer but it has been done before . If you have an account with Fed Ex and print your own labels they do not check the contents when you ship. The key is making sure the contents are secure and protected so they don't bust in transit. I know of folks who have had packages returned and shipping privileges suspended for that reason. I've been told that these work good (wink, wink).

I've shipped out wine. PITA with the post office, etc. when it comes to shipping liquids. You always have to lie about it. But I'm game with a beer exchange with y'all.

Ok, so I do have an account with the company I work for. I can ensure no glass breakage, but not so sure if cans might burst bc of the carbonation. I think I would rather ship out through a local fedex store than risk any backlash if anything happens.
Wines for the most part I think are not carbonated.. at least the reds right?(Not much of a wine head)

I would be game. I've shipped Shiner Bock to St Louis over the years (A transplant Texan/ex lives there so I send her a case or so a year). I've had no problem, just pack it right.
I'm a homebrewer and have refined my appreciation for microbrews. Also, like to try to replicate the recipes. I'm lucky enough to have 8 breweries within a 2 hours motorcycle ride (Infamous, Jester King, Shiner, Adelberts, Circle, 4th Tap to name a few).

Best way to describe it, is you get an aroma of ripened pineapple rinds. Flavor is the same as the smell, but it's actually pretty good. Smooth and refreshing.

Uplands brewing blackberry lambic, Belgian style ale aged in oak barrels with blackberries. If you like sour beers this is the one. I drove from RVA to Bloomington IN to get it and it was worth the drive.
