TRD PRO owners with 275/70R18 KO2 tires..

I love the 275/70 KO2'S as well.

No sir! Stock TRD with the fox suspension. Factory everything minus the tire. The size seems perfect for the stock stance to me. Tires line up right at the edge of the wheel well and don't stick out or suck in. With the black wheel, dark wheel well and stock black wall out, I felt no matter how big a tire I put in there on this rim it might get lost. Plus, I've always been a fan of the RWL.

 

Not a Pro but Pro suspension with coachbuilder +2s

The TRD off road has the Bilsteins which are also a great shock!

The trd pro 2015-2017 have the bilstein with reservoir.
They went to fox on 2019.
@15whtrd said he has trd pro suspension, I was wondering witch ones he has the fox or bilstein.

 

I didn't know that. On the 19's, the bilstein's are still on the off road from what I saw.

Pruff lol I got them as take offs from another member here. Great deal at the time. Especially when I paid less than half of what they would be to buy brand new. And you are totally correct. All the TRD off-road’s come with the Billies and the pros came with the piggybacks from Billy until 19 when they switched to FOX.

 

What tire pressures are you running with this size tire in the front and rear?

Nice! I really like how your truck sits! My pro sits higher up front

 

Right now I’m running between 38–40 psi in the front and about 32 PSI in the back. I do this so I get about the same amount of tire bulge with the weight of the truck so that they wear evenly. Seems like many people like to pump the backs up, but that’s gonna wear out the middle of the tire when you’re unloaded and make it easy to peel out. If I haul a load I fill them up. I feel that the sidewalls are stiff enough that they don’t need to be filled up any higher than my stock tires were set at. Sometimes I will see people run close to max PSI which must give them a rough ride and funky tire wear.

 

Yeah mine was sitting level but appeared to sit higher in the front until I added the shackles in the back. That gave it about an inch, which was more pleasing to my eye. The guy who sold me the shocks also gave me some coachbuilder shims but I decided not to put them in the front. But somewhere down the line if I want I may put them on. But then I may have to change my shackles to get the look back. But I actually like it just the way it is now. Very mild but totally functional for my needs.

Did you use the Carrier Bearing drop kit ?

 

Yes I did. Since it came with the shackles I figured it would be a good idea since coachbuilder recommends them. Although I didn’t try it without them so I don’t know if it did anything.

 

Cool and do you feel any difference on driveshaft or anything abnormal?

 

The shackles them selves feel great, especially with the poly bushings. This might be my imagination because it’s a very brief, but I swear I can feel a very slight vibration if I take off from a dead stop real hard. Again it’s hard to really tell. Because it’s only for a brief second and I do have a 6 inch BAmuffler. So it could just be a rumble as it is so slight. I’m not too concerned. If I did anything, I would remove the spacers to see if that changes anything one way or another.
