    Speaking only to the IP question. A household likely shares the same EXTERNAL IP. It's like your home address. You have a house number and street number etc. The internet analog is an EXTERNAL IP address assigned to you by your service provider. All the mail is delivered to a mailbox (analog is your network equipment) there regardless who it's addressed to. Names of household members = INTERNAL IP addresses (assigned by your equipment) and then your equipment passes out the mail to whoever it's addressed to.

    You can always check your EXTERNAL IP at https://whatismyipaddress.com/ or just type "what's my ip" in the google.
