I have a 2017 TRD PRO and recently purchased an iPhone 11 and found out it is not compatible with my Navigation . I keep getting drop calls and intermittent no phone found messages. My music continues to play via Bluetooth, but when I get a drop call, the navi locks my phone where I am not able to redial with Navigation or my phone. I have gone to dealer 3 times, upgraded the data with directions from Toyota corporation. Bottom line is it has been 6 months since iPhone 11 has been out, Toyota corporate and Apple don’t have any urgency to make an compatible upgrade to resolve this issue. If you have a tundra, don’t buy the iPhone 11 and vice versa. Does anyone else have this problem?

I have a 2019 Pro. The only issue I have is text messages don’t come through. Everything else works fine.

I have the iPhone 11 Pro Max, I had same issues, as far as the bluetooth not connecting and disconnecting.
I downloaded the latest update 13.2.3 and it seemed to fix it.
    I'm in a 2019 Limited.

I'm in and out of rental cars for work and my work phone (an iphone 8) has trouble pairing and staying paired with a lot of different vehicles. But my personal phone (android) has no trouble with any of the rental cars, nor my tundra. :notsure:

Maybe try to go delete or forget this device on your entune radio and re setup again.

I've also been having intermittent problems with my iPhone 11 Pro Max. Every time Apple makes changes they fuck things up.

My daughter [a digital native, instead of digital dinosaur like me] told us to never get the newest version phone because they never have the bugs worked out. We didn't listen this time [got the iPhone 11 Pro Max] and sure as crap we are having the same problems.

We all need to stop allowing salesman talk us into buying apple products until they work out and advertise the facts about the iPhones

Add one more to the list, dropped calls, can't answer on steering wheel or screen, can't hang up on wheel or screen. All of this intermittent, some times it behaves, most of the time not. I've tried deleting from truck and re-pairing, doesn't seem to help. I did notice moving from iphone 6 to 11 that the messages have more features though.

Toyota corporations says its all up to Apple and how fast they want to create the upgrade and that they can not do anything about this. I tried everything possible and the upgrade available is up to iPhone X and XR. None made for 11, Apple is selling these phones by advertising the camera knowing that they have no updates that works. I have had many updates on my phone and the trucks Navigation without any changes. What puzzles me my wife has no problems with her 2016 Lexus RX 350 with the same exact phone as mine!!!!!

I have an 11 Pro Max and my calls get dropped within 30 seconds - 2 minutes...every time. I’m also having issues with my personal hotspot. I’m considering taking it back to the store. No issues with playing Pandora through the truck though.

I was having issues with my Xs Max after iOS 13.1.2 came out , then I got the 11 Pro Max and the issues were still there, took it to the dealer and they didn’t find anything wrong with the HU, ended up being an issue with Apple Music on the phone, there’s a long tread about this topic here on the forum.

None! I tow a boat weekly
It’s the HU not your phone. Your phone will work in every other vehicle other then some of the Toyota’s. It’s not every Toyota. It’s a percentage. My phone works with my Kenwood in my boat, my wife’s Kia, my sons GMC truck and my parents Hyundai and every other newer vehicle I’ve been in except my 2015 Tundra. The Tundra had been working great then one day the HU froze up and rebooted multiple times. I installed the new update and that worked for a few months and now I can’t even connect my Bluetooth or it freezes back up in minutes. If your under warranty you can deal with trying to get a new HU which I understand may or may not work. Plus the added aggravation. Love my truck so a new HU is going in that works.

Mine did it when I tried to use the shitty Entune navigation through my iPhone 11. I uninstalled it from my phone and have no issues since.

Thanks for the tip. I just deleted the Toyota entune. I noticed my wife’s iPhone 11 works well in her Lexus and in my Tundra. I think you might have found a good solution for all the people with similar issues. Thanks

My 2017 began dropping calls, local dealer installed the current software update. Still dropping calls (every call) and then after call is dropped I have to turn off the radio in order to call out or receive a call on my iPhone 11. returned to the dealer and was advised to try pairing another phone to the truck to see if the problem persists. If so they will replace the head unit, (don't have much in that working). Need to get this resolved as I'm at 33,820 miles and they have to replace now as no goodwill will be extended.
