I heard that! I've got coilovers and shocks that have been sitting in my garage since March! I've been collecting parts here and there. I ordered my tires yesterday, all I need now is wheels and UCA's. Maybe I'll get to wheel it before winter hits!

Just in case I'm in a river bed or deep water. They sometimes suck water in. What's funny is a month or two ago it flooded here an I had to go through water up to my axles for a few minutes. If I hadn't moved it, it may or may not have sucked water. Just preventative. I plan on driving this truck until they mass produce flying cars...

Well guys, it looks like the vinyl used on the TSS Off Road decals, at least on my truck, wasn't that great. It started coming off in little places and I've decided to remove both decals. I like keeping some of the factory looks, but I got to thinking I would not replace them with more tss decals because they are really not factory, but rather dealer decals for the cosmetic package added. So.... No tss decals and I am thinking since it didn't come as a trd model, those decals are a no-go. I know a lot of you don't want any decals at all, but I like a little old school. You guys think I should get new tss decals? Or just put something all together different?

    Damn OCD.

Slightly off topic, so you have a Tundras.com decal on there somewhere?

Guys... I sold my hypertech tuner here and now I'm getting the itch to have a tuner again... I miss the extra punch the HT gave my truck. Well a year ago bullydog put out a tuner for our trucks and the cost was 700-900 depending on where you looked. It also turned out to be a bust and sucked for the price when used on a naturally aspirated truck. But..... A company calked SVT bought bullydog and not only brought the price down below 400 but they are supposedly working on a tune for a supercharger for flex fuel vehicles at some point.... So I'm considering getting one, but i may jus end up getting bored and selling it in a couple months. Or... I could be smart and get a set of fat bobs coilovers and light racing uca's for 900 bucks. I guess we will see. I NEED a lift, but do I need a 400 dollar doodad.

OK so now I have to ask... is the HT tuner worth it?
I've also read it can also adjust for larger tires(and lets face it, my truck will end up on larger meats eventually) yet they have a separate calibrator for that too. so does the tuner have the ability to calibrate the speedo, and then for those that dont need/want the tuner they just buy the speedo calibrator?

I was kind of bummed about the whole flexfuel incompatible with the supercharger thing as well, so if there was an option from bullydog for that it would be nice to have the option of the supercharger again at least

From follow these guys and reading there post to adjust the speedo is a seperate unit which you can buy together or buy just the speedo part.

The HT does add hp and tq. I dont know about mpg because I couldn't keep my foot out of the throttle. One thing about it is it doesn't mess with your ecu, so if you are stillbringing your truck in for service, you wont have to load the stock tune and reset your ecu with the battery cable off so the service shop wont know you had a tune.

Thr HT does not calibrate for tires size though. Like Steve says, its a different part.

Ive decided that after my last service from toyota in about 2500 more miles, that ill get the bullydog. I really think they will not onlyget us to where we can custom tune and account for things like cai and dual exhaust, but the only thing stopping them from a supercharger tune is the reverse polarity of ffv fuel pumps. Our trucks already have the larger injectors and high flow fuel pump. Not to mention hardened parts in the motor to protect from the e85. All we need is a tuneand the charger itself.

You cant go wrong either way, but the BD is going to offer more in the long run. You just have to realize you would be changing the programming of your trucks computer.
