If it makes you feel better, mine just ended. Though, I am 10 hours ahead.

So I've been working into third shift for the past week to cut up and scrap out over 5 tons of steel and aluminum and now my first shift coworker hasn't showed up for the past three days and the other first shift guy has had two vacation days scheduled for tomorrow and Friday. This means on top of staying until 2 am I get to come in to work at 8am tomorrow for a 12 hour shift. hopefully the coworker who's been a no call no show will actually be in and it won't be too bad, but I have a feeling I'm going to be playing catch up all day and into Friday...... :annoyed: :censored: this place. moving to Maine in spring can't come soon enough.

Oh I have been. My supervisors don't know jack about how the tool crib works so they've been piling on more responsibilities to "increase efficiency" but they've only been slowing us down. we're too busy during our scheduled shifts to leave the crib and try to pull metal off the racks and bring it to the band saw to be cut up and stacked on a pallet. not to mention the band saw is almost always in use during first and second shift to begin with. so that leaves only me staying late on third shift when the machine shop is only running the tumbler and press. definitely doesn't help that there isn't a lot of room and the area around the band saw is cluttered with parts and pallets of sheet metal. I'm also trying to move 8"x2"x1/4" steel tube that's 25' long by myself and there isn't enough room for a forklift. at least I'm getting a workout :notsure:

I love that movie. Such a quotable classic. "Are we awake?"..."We're not sure. Are we black?"..."Yes we are"..."Then we're awake, but very confused" :D

The bullshit is over for the day but I feel like I got hit by a truck. I'm not even going to bother trying to play catch up. Skip The Dishes and The Mandalorian on Disney+ are as far as I'm gonna get.

I started the day on a good note, then it went downhill.
One of my subs is f'ing up pretty bad. I called the guy that runs the place and said it feels like a thousand chahuahaus are surrounding me and biting hard. We have a meeting on the jobsite at 0615 tomorrow. Watching NCIS reruns will get me through this evening.
