Hello, I'm pretty new to Tundra ownership and I think I may be way over my head on this one. Front seal on my transmission had popped off. P1760 linear solenoid for line pressure control code was on my truck. The journeyman at my shop thinks it needs a rebuild. I need to know if this code means negative pressure (due to the seal failing) or positive pressure (causing the seal to fail) the transmission is already pulled but I can't really afford to send it off for testing so I was hoping you guys might have some insight.

Bought the truck with the leaking seal, the previous owner had ran it low/possibly dry. It scanned as:
    P1760 line pressure sensor
    P0715 turbine speed sensor
    P0770 shift solenoid e

So I drove it for a few days while keep fluid full and only the shift solenoid e code came back. Now I just need to know if my pump is most likely gone or if I should just slap in a new seal and send it.

If I am not mistaken, "P0770 shift solenoid e" can set because of low fluid level among a few other reasons. When you were able to drive it, how did it act as far as shift points, unusual sounds etc ?

    excuse my manners....Welcome

It shifted well, no unusual sounds or clunks. Happily shifted in a parking lot, at full throttle, at high way speeds, at partial throttle. Hence why I'm skeptical on sending it to be rebuilt.
    And thanks :)

Maybe do a few drain and fills using the DEX/Merc from Valvoline $14 a gallon. Check the fluid with the truck running and at operating temp. My 2002 A340F likes it a hair over the full line for smoothest shifting.
