So went to move my 2018 tundra the other day, and I guess I thought I'd back into my dads truck that was parked beside mine. Needless to say, I crumbled his little colorado bumper, and I left with only a broken taillight cover. My question is, I'm thinking this would be a good time to upgrade both taillights to led, but there are only a million options out there.

    1. How easy are these to do myself.....I'm fairly handy, but no mechanic...I'm hoping they make like a plug and play???

    2. What sort of price will I be looking at for 2 taillights?

    Thanks

Tail lights are super easy to remove/install. Plug and play, yes. As far as price, totally depends on what you choose to go with, anywhere from $180 to ????

I've got those with the white tube. Pretty pleased, but the reverse light intensity sucks. Plug and play.

Have you tried an upgraded led reverse bulb? Asking for a friend,,,,,,LOL. Have you checked out the new S1 from Baja designs? I'm thinking of running 2 of 'em with wide driving lens as switched reverse lights. The new S1 is almost as bright as an S2 pro, way over kill hehe. #notailgating. Also thinking of adding 2 to the front bumper corners and pointing them outward at roughly 45*

I've definitely given the led upgrade serious thought. That's a great idea with the S1. My fogs are Squadron Sports. They're awesome. I'll have to ponder my next move. Part of the issue at night is my tint. You can't see shit in reverse without something that puts out some serious lumens. Thing is, these lights were listed as led when I bought them, but I don't think it includes the reverse lights.

Same here, the "led" tail lights just reused the OEM incandescent bulbs.

That's exactly what I need. Do you have a direct link on Autoanything? Or tell me how you found them because I can't find them when I search.
