So after our last road trip down to Farmington NM, I realized again what I need to do. Make that 3 things I need to do.

I need a 38 plus gallon fuel tank.

I need better headlights. I really like the smoked headlights I currently have. So maybe a bulb replacement?

My current exhaust is really starting to drooooooooooone at 1600 to 1800 RPM.

So near term, bulb replacement and Dirty Deeds exhaust. Then a bigger fuel tank since I image that is the most expensive.

    Good list of To Do's!!!

Seems like every one of the items on your list will make your road trips more enjoyable. You will especially like the bigger gas tank. Having to stop for fuel is a drag when you are out having fun. :)

If you are even remotely considering a DD exhaust, now is the time. Pretty sure his Veteran's discount is still going, so you'll be hard pressed to get a better deal.

I get decent mileage. My OCD kicks in when I'm at half of a tank. That seems to happen pretty quick.

    Wait.
You have smoked headlight lenses and you’re saying that you just now realized they don’t put out enough light?
    Am I reading that right?

Irony, yep. Never really drove 300 miles at night until this last trip.

The change-out to an OEM 38 gallon tank is a bit spendy and takes a few hours to do, but it sure will be worth it. Mine came stock with one and I value it every time I have to make a long trip. Truly one of the best features of my 2018 Tundra.
