what 6x9 speakers do you guys have on 2nd gen front door

i am having trouble finding a speaker that fits with our window frame being so close and making it hard to fit

 

I've got Alpine type r 6x9s. You will need a spacer between the door frame and speaker. Don't quote me on this, but the spacer I used is either 3/4 or 1 inch. These 6x9s have a mounted depth of 2 7/8 inches. I love the sound the give too.

Just received them today they look good and feel like good quality made by HARMAN

 

Should be installing on sunday

 

kappa infinity here. the 2 ways one using spacer

 

Decided to go with 6.5 Infiniti Kappa 62ix due to not being able to find any 6x9 that would not hit the window mechanism when window would role down. Matted the doors and new speakers and so far I only did the front since the 6x9 I had in there were starting to cut out at times and the sound is a huge difference maybe this coming Sunday I will do the rear doors.
