It's an old VW. Don't they all leak something from somewhere? Doesn't matter. Those that love them love them anyway.

Yep. If it ain't leaking a little oil, it means it's probably out. Lol. I've got a boat, the bug and a 83 Toyota Rock crawler. Too many toys, not enough time.

just an FYI, The tufskinz won't cover any chrome. The chrome around the cup holders was not the mod being shown in those pics. That has to be painted, or wrapped.

Anyone have any experience with this brand? Looking to get rid of these big ass RED tail lights and I like the look of these. Minimal reviews but they are good. They also have headlights that look pretty nice but aren’t super expensive.....any advice on these would be great!

When ya convince the wife that the used Victory 4x4 bumper is a killer deal, then gotta buy a light bar and 12,000 lb winch.

    Thanks man.
I've got this type of bumper for the install and it doesn't have hole for the lightbar. So while I'll have it cut with water jet, thought crossed my mind to make few extra cuts for venting and maybe some kind of logo. But I use my truck for my business daily (bed is usually full of tools) with dump trailer at least once a week. With quite few hills that I have to cover in Seattle area, cooling is my concern.

I purged some stuff in the bed so I could take the leaves to the dump this morning. Pretty comfy back there. You could easily sleep there.

Which got me thinking, if you got a ladder rack to mount over the Leer shell, you could put a RTT on it. Dog and I could sleep in the bed and avoid the ladder and kid and wife in the RTT. I floated it. Not likely. Spoiled by glamping.

Put on some new windshield wipers. They started to streak about a month ago and are three years old so I figured it was time although they were still working fairly well, which is odd considering their condition. :eek2:

Installed some goodies today for 6hrs.

    Bilstein 5100, front and rear
Tuff Country 2" Level kit with axle drop (I should have just gotten the axle drop and set the 5100 in the middle setting).
TRD sway bars, front and rear.
    OEM Toyota pocket fender flares

Axle drop is a pain to install! Fitting the nut just right, without dropping it a million times is the most challenging part of the day. Other than that it's been really productive and I am psyched on how it looks and feel.
