Status update for orders? If so as stated on the first thread they will begin shipping middle to end of November as part of this deal. Refer back to the first post for details

 

Light output on the xbs are slightly brighter than oem. But it's not a huge noticeable difference. With xbs your getting performance and unique look. If your just looking to upgrade to LED without the style of the xb then go with oem. But if you want unique design and output quality then xbs is a good option.

 

I read the first post. I just asked for a status update. In this particular case an appropriate response would be "Things are on schedule, or early."

But I see the order page now says late November early December. What's up with that if they have been on the water for over a month? Not bitching, just asking.

The main reason I am asking is I have upcoming rotator cuff surgery that will have me out of commission for a while.

 

Because orders are shipped in groups as part of the discount. So trs sends them out in batches and not individually as if they would if you order without the discount or using a different coupon that's not a part of this deal. Therefore after the sale ends, we want to make sure there's plenty of time to process all of the orders. It's better to put the eta ship date for the discount instead of customers expecting it to ship next day not knowing the process.

With that being said, if you order them at regular price or let's say using the tundras.com 10% off coupon, they'll ship next day more than likely.

 

I'm confused, your sig claims a 5% discount, but there is a 10% discount for forum members? Based on your explanation I saved $45 to wait 3 weeks for shipping, can I just upgrade my order (7810) to have them shipped on Monday?

Not bad. I paid a grand but I changed out all lights to LED and got an interior LED light package as well. That was with shipping.

I was thinking the exact same thing. I guess shame on me for not digging a little deeper. Buying the lights through lightwerkz.net with the relay is $1,044.32 with free 2-10 day shipping. So I paid $15 extra dollars to wait an extra month for my lights. That one is one me.




If the sale ended on October 31st, why did the orders not go in on November 1st? Have you placed the order yet? Once the order goes in will we get a shipping confirmation or tracking number? I would rather not deal with the process of canceling and getting a refund back to my credit card. I would just like to know if the process for shipping can be expedited and a firm shipping date set. A 15 day shipping window is quite large and does not give any idea of arrival time.

Referring to the quote above. Is this Retrofit Wholesale stock or The Retofit Source stock? Who did I order from, Retrofit Wholesale or The Retrofit Source? Who is going to be my contact for shipping and warranty questions?

 

Not sure where you got your pricing from but this is the lowest price on the xb headlights as none of TRS dealers offer discounts on these. Not even trs has special discounts on these and every dealer base their pricing from them.

Again because of the large discounts, the orders are processed in groups not individually. That's why there's a delay to allow processing through Trs of all the orders and this takes time.

If you are impatient or think you can find a better deal please let me know asap about canceling. Once the orders are pending from trs there will be no cancelation

Your buying from Retrofit Wholesale which is a dealer for trs. You will receive all email confirmations and shipment confirmations. There was a reported problem with the email server so some haven't received order confirmation but we are fixing That and resending

 

I have so many comments about how this is being done but I'll leave that alone. Ordering and holding orders and then placing the orders in batches and hoping they have the product and botched email servers and not placing our orders the day after the sale is over.

1. Have you placed the orders with TRS?
2. What did they say about availability and ship date?

I know the answer to question 1 better be a yes. I'm really want to know what they said as to ship date and availability.

My question is if you guys ordered which means you read the shipping time frame but yet don't agree with it, why order during this discount if your just going to complain about why it's not shipping yet. I have explained why in the previous response. I am a dealer for trs and I have their policies to follow especially when holding big discounts such as these. We have tons of lost packages and other problems so we decided by waiting until we process everything and prepare batch shipment would be best

Again those who don't want wait are can pm your order number and cancel. If you order directly from trs they'll ship it probably next week sometime.

 

This vendor is pure trouble. He offered a refund, I would take it and run. The next line from him is predictable.

Trouble how exactly? 5 other forum group buys have been successful on different xb headlights. Most people understood about the wait. Its not just me but there's also some delays at TRS probably due to the holidays. Again refund is open and their available at full price. Due to the amount of complaints about not wanting to wait even after specifically stating how long it will take, there won't be another sale atleast not fro me.

 

Orders are placed with TRS of course. But they arent to ship them until after the time frame given. its possible that they can delay them as well if situations occur

 

When did you place the orders??

 

As dealers we cannot bulk order as we can individually. So Excel files are sent to TRS and someone in that department handles wholesale and takes care of the orders. Orders we sent earlier this week.

 

If you are that concerned about your order then I advise you to cancel and order directly from TRS. It will give you peace of mind. Just pm me your order number and i'll cancel it tonight!

 

I ordered mine on November 5th and I just got an E-mail yesterday telling me they shipped. Mine are expected to arrive next Tuesday Nov 12th and the price was great.
