Oh yeah, I been wanting a gallon of the brake buster. I bought the 16oz to try and I liked it on wheels, not so much on tires. Sucks about your ONR... I'm interested to see how foam booster works, I was using detailing spray to moisten my pad on first use.

I'm holding off on any detailing purchases until the holiday sales. Saving up for a Springfield 1911 .45 acp and reloading supplies.

I'm hoping the brake buster does okay for me. My wheels are plasti dipped and I haven't found anything that works well to remove dust and grime because of the texture of the dip in some areas.
The foam booster was actually given to me by accident I think, because I got some my last order as well as a free gift, it was somehow still in my cart and free even though i didn't reach the spending minimum, same goes for the 2 MF towels. Anyway I tried it last week on my moms car and it seemed to help increase the foam produced in combo with a normally low foaming Reset. I wouldn't pay for it, but for free I'll use it.
I'll send you some of it when i finally mail out your Essence, sorry for the delay on that.
I'll let you all know how this pad spray works too, not for a few months though, it's too cold here now to do much. I used Immolube cut with some water before and really liked how it worked when polishing. It keeps the pads wet and slick to decrease marring, pretty much kills any dusting, and makes the pads go longer between cleans because it prevents product from caking up the pad. Immolube is a really good product that doesn't get much mention, and it's cheap. I'm not convinced that this blackfire conditioner will beat out my immolube mix but I'll try it out, after all it too was free.

It's really weird, I went to shake it and I could have sworn that the product was dried into a ball in there. I opened it and saw some liquid but can't see much. When I shake it, it sounds like there is a metal ball or marble in it. I emailed AG about it and I think I'll email solutions finish too, it's really weird sounding but maybe it's normal? Soon we will find out.

I've been trying brake buster for a couple of months now, and while it works well on the wheels, its not that good on the tires, plus it doesn't contain any iron remover, something that I find pretty odd, especially for the application.

Next up on my list of wheel cleaners to try is the TUGA Devil Special wheel cleaner. Heard really good things about it. If anyone has any experience with it, I'd like to hear it

My plan for the brake buster is to make a solution of the buster and gyeon iron remover, I will play with the ratios here and there and see what I can do for my dipped wheels. I ended up with a few bottles of the gyeon iron due to a shipping mishap by Amazon. I'm not a fan of how it works on paint, it's just not as good as the real deal carpro IronX so I use it for wheels.
As for tires I have found my holy grail tire cleaner in Shine Supply Wise Guy tire cleaner. I can't imagine I'll stray from it for a long time, as long as its available, I'll keep it I'm stock. @War Machine @Bust and @jason.bird used it, reviewed it, and I jumped on a gallon and am amazed how well it works every time I use it.

Wise guy is the only tire cleaner I use. Nothing touches it. I use the diluted brake buster only for wheels unless you count over spay on the tires. I keep my wheels clean with routine washes so I'm happy with brake buster. I have no clue if it works on wheels with heavy brake dust build up. $30 bucks for a gallon of wise guy is damn cheap. I maintain 4 vehicles at my house and I used roughly 2/3 of the gallon. I used mequires hot wheel or rim cleaner before wise guy at 5 bucks a pop that I could clean 2 vehicles with maybe. So not only a good value but a product that crushes the competition.

I used the tuga last year on my daughter's wheels that had been neglected for years from the previous owner. Literally melted all the crud build up. Smells just as bad as iron x but works great. Kinda on the expensive side but you shouldn't have to use it much if you maintain your wheels regularly.

Maybe I’m wrong. I’ll try to remember to double check, but I haven’t noticed it.

Tuga Devil works great, especially on filthy wheels. P21S and Poorboys are also really good. There’s ultimately not a huge difference in how effective most of the wheel cleaners are. Tuga Devil is probably the strongest out of all the ones I’ve tried. They all require agitation, so until I find one that’s truly “spray on, rinse off” they’re really interchangeable in my opinion.

Brake Buster does have a couple of big advantages for me.

First of all, the price. It’s half what Poorboys is per gallon.

Secondly, I like that fact that it doesn’t have iron removers, and is milder than the others. Since my wheels don’t tend to be completely filthy, I don’t generally need it to be too strong. I go with one of the others on really bad wheels.
Since my wheels are coated with Beadlock, I prefer a milder cleaner. I feel like the harsher ones would degrade the coating faster. This may also be a benefit on your plasti-dipped wheels @Pudge . I’m not sure how a harsher cleaner would effect yours, but I don’t think it would be good for it.

Thanks for the heads up on the TUGA, package should be arriving today with it, and will try it this weekend, weather permitting. From what I'm reading the TUGA is going to be great for my customers with track dedicated vehicles

Brake buster is mild, and I agree it may do less damage on coated wheels, however I have not been able to find the happy medium, in my opinion, the Griots garage wheel cleaner is at, plus it smells great.
I have tried that one on coated and dipped wheels for a year and a half without affecting the layer at all.

Autogeek CS rep named Marquez got back to me about my leaked ONR and my mystery rattling noise in my solution's finish bottle. I have dealt with Marquez before and he has always been great. He will send me a fresh bottle of ONR and he said he went to the warehouse and checked on other bottles of solutions finish and none made any noise when he shook them, it's really weird that mine sounds like it has a steel ball in it. He is checking directly with solutions finish on my issue because I can't tell if its dried up product or something that is supposed to be in there. It honestly sounds like its supposed to be there, kind of weird. Anyway, as always customer service at Autogeek is taking care of me quickly and I couldn't be happier.

If I was to sell one it would probably be the Torq just because I have had the Porter Cable for Years and am used to it. I have only Used the Torq a couple of times.

I just heard from a rep at solutions finish, they just started adding a steel ball to aide in more vigorous mixing of the solution. They don't mention it on the packaging or their website anywhere. Autogeek had no idea either. Anyway, all is well and I'm looking forward to trying it next spring.

Evidently I just didn't add it to the cart, my mistake I suppose. I thought I had even looked. Maybe not.

Either way, as you predicted, they made it right. I'll be back.
