I have heard only good things about automotivetouchup, and that 2k clear is supposed to be a huge upgrade from the typical clear coat sprays. I'm excited to see the results

Should be a good one here! So did ya keep the Tundra or trade it in on this one?

I had very good results on my tundra when I painted with the automotive touch up paint. I haven’t personally used the 2k clear yet but I read great reviews on it. They warn you about having to wear a respirator while spraying with it though. Must be some potent stuff.

Nice! I want to see some before and after pics or it didn’t happen.

I took my time removing all the glue but it wasn’t a quick process to do. I have a glue removal wheel that works very well but I noticed it still leaves scratches on the clear coat so I can elected to take my time on this one. I’m very happy with the results!

Well I guess a guy can't have it all :( I'd like to get ahold of a diesel in addition to the Tundra one of these days, especially if this side gig works out enough to warrant needing a "write off."

You technically aren’t, but because its Zach, and he’s a personal friend of mine, with a Tundra, and can drive a tractor he gets exempted. You created him a position. Assistant to the Regional Manager. Congrats Zach!

My truck is going in this week for some amp power steps, 2” level kit and maybe some new wheels and tires. All the lift kits I want won’t release until the beginning of next year, so I’ll likely get some temporary new wheels and tires to enjoy in the Colorado snow next month. Here’s some of the Sema builds from last week for some future ideas.

This white GMC has an 8” lift kit on it.

This black GMC appears to have about a 3”-4.5” lift.

On the front grill emblems, how exactly did you remove them?

I pulled all the emblems off my old tailgate and seen the GMC might need to be drilled out? Maybe the grill emblem is different.

Forgot to ask if you optioned the dual alternator option since in the past, you needed a few more amps?

I had to take the grille off since the front emblems were held on by clips on the back side.

I’ll have to check my window sticker again because I don’t remember seeing that option on my truck. I didn’t special order this truck so I don’t know for sure.

Maybe the rear emblem is different than the front grill.

It’s an option. Took me a while to find one as well. Both alternators are on top like this:

My rear emblem was held by 3M adhesive and the front just by the clips.

I checked and I have the 220 amp alternator.
