can you swap the 06 etcs throttle body out for a mechanical TB as long as you have a tps ?

    got a 06 tundra with a etcs code I have cleaned, replaced and cleaned TB with no results the gas pedal still will not function. i want just replace with a mechanical TB.... but will it work?

    custom body work, Billies with taco ARB springs, Icon AAL, TRD FJ trail team wheels, 2019 Toyota 86 radio, Blacked out interior, Added factory power everything, heater mirrors, ETC
    it would take quite a bit of trickery to get it all to function.. the truck would not be able to keep idle correct because its not setup for a Idle air control valve, instead it uses the butterfly flap in the throttle to adjust idle. then your traction control will also no longer function right because it uses the throttle to kill power to the engine.

    Yep. Way too much going on in the ECU to simply swap throttle bodies.

    Who has traction control? Not my truck.
    I saw a video where iirc the guy put an 05-06 TB and manifold on his 04, among other goodies. I'll look for lt

    Nope not a fuse its not sending power from the way for some reason tps voltage is within range pedal is aswell
