It was bound to happen sooner or later, brand spanking new 2016 4 runner trail edition. Andddd still waiting on my 2500 dirty max to arrive. Can't decide which to put the long travel on though. Sorry guys, no more tundra for me, it was fun while it lasted!

Gobi stealth rack and 40inch light bar ordered yesterday
    ARB awning ordered
Can't decide between tapui and CVT for rooftop tent? Any input?
Waiting to find a good deal on TRD pro wheels
Still looking at suspension options, calling LSK tomorrow to see what they think about doing Long travel. If they don't want to then I might end up with a stage 7 icon kit or something similar. Wanting to stuff either 34's, possibly 35's if I can get greedy and actually do long travel.
Looking for a sleek front skid plate/bumper option
Definitely keeping it a clean build. Maybe some cooper tires ;) even though they never got back to me lol.

Oh and I have a brand new rock warrior wheel thats never been mounted, ever. with a BRAND new zero miles on it 37x12.50 RT on it that I need to get rid of. Forgot about that until just now. Come to think of it I might have some other tundra parts floating around too.

I vote Tepui on the tent, both are good but they seem a bit friendlier to deal with in my experiences.
Check out our lo-pro bumper option if you dont want a full replacement but want a bit of beef, we also have a full plate but it's rather heavy at around 140lbs, the low pro is about half that. Here's a couple 5th gen's with them, black rig is my wife's

That's what I've been reading on the tents as well, that'll likely be the option I go with it's looking like. Funny you commented, I'm trying to decide between yours and C4's low pro bumper lol. It's a great looking option and the look I'm going for, just need to decide between yours and C4's. Are there any differences besides price point and cut outs?

Yes, several differences. Mine is a bit tighter clearance wise, has a true-vertical recessed fairlead, ours replaces the whole lower grille with the new panel as seen above, and also has the option for lights in the grille(as seen on my wife's 4R above).

I vote long travel the Chevy/GMC truck. My family has a house in Scottsdale AZ, and I have seen some of the most awesome, ridiculous, well engineered, etc.(get it...) long travel GM based desert trucks over the past few years. I want. Congrats on the 4R!

Thanks! It's definitely a change from the tundra, especially the whole getting more than 5mpg's thing haha!

Congrats on the 4Runner, that thing is going to be sick!

Just like @ColoradoTJ , I'm sure you will be busy with the new build(s) but I hope you stick around.

Can't wait to see the 2500 as well.

I've got no reason to go anywhere else, happy to be a part of this forum. Won't be as frequent as before, since well, build threads for the 4 runner might not be so welcomed here lol. @Sean266 :p

Damn you Cliff! lol Which suspension kit specifically from ICON is that? I like the baja rack's, have they fixed the center droop issue yet?

Icon Stage 7 with all the billet UCA and upper/lower links.

As far as the rack, I personally would go with the Frontrunner just due to how modular they are. I'd have to look into the Baja Rack issue.
