    Yeah I feel like I'm in a minority. I understand the motives behind chrome-delete because I did that with my old Tacoma, but my tastes have changed a bit with the Tundra. I like really liked the look of the Limiteds and Platinums, but couldn't find one in a 6-passenger.

    Installed my carrier bearing drop today, super quick and easy install. I didn't realize how much vibration I had until I installed the drop kit, but it's all cleaned up now! VeIB3oQ7Tg+uctU4wP1oIA.jpg

    @BreyTundy
    When I do my 3/2 lift, will this be a necessity?

    Air lift, black out emblems, wheels, tonneau cover, tires, led lighting, hidden step rail, remote start.
    Mine had 2 pads in box that attached to bottom of mat. Check box and make sure they were not in box.

    I wasn't sure about the letters, but it looks good on red. Get flat letters, the 3d look dumb.

    Took a year or so to finally complete the de-chrome’ing my 17’ CM. I added the TPO black bumper shellz from Ecoological, Falken wildpeak A/T3 W, tires, quicksand grill / bulge, Vision Granite alloy 18 wheels, have new badges on the way. Simple but looks good at 39 K. Thanks to all the members on this forum for sharing their knowledge and insight

    I'd say it is necessary with a 3/2 lift. Mine is only lifted 1" in the rear and I still had some driveline vibration.

    Rear leaf springs rebuilt, re arched, and a leaf added to get the correct weight/ride height.

    Crap, I don’t. I’ll do my best. It’s mostly for the wife to get a visual, so I can get the go ahead for paint. Once in a while she likes to be included in the mods.

    Monday replaced my tire that the dealer ordered the wrong model of. Now I don't have a hub cap... Made appt. for next Thursday for oil change and they're covering the hub cap.

    Been noticing a ringing sound at 70-77ish mph cruising. Thinking it's something with my exhaust as it goes away when I let off. Not sure what though, I suppose I can re-torque the resonator and check on my hole weld on the @dirtydeeds 10", I never repainted it and didn't tell the shop it was SS so hopefully the weld is still there (but I never had a ringing when I first installed and had the hole though).

    Also been noticing a pretty bad grabbing/shudder in slow or stop and go traffic when off the gas (idling down, coasting) then touching the throttle again to move at about 1k RPM. Feels like the transmission is engaging really hard and jerks the truck. Not sure what this could be?

    I finally swapped over my rear shock from the OEM black tokiko to the TRD Sport Bilstein.
    They are quite a bit beefier, heavier, and much much more stiff as far as trying to collapse them down. I was able to use one arm to collapse the OEM shock down to remove it from the perch and could not even budge the new shock into place, I had to jack up the truck to full droop and pry the lower mount in. The recoil is also much slower. This could be a result of shocks with 40k miles vs 4 miles, buy they do ride better as well especially as far as bed bounce and recoil over bumps, it's much smoother now.
    It has to be all in my head but the rear end of my truck appears to be sitting higher now since the swap, I know shocks don't lift but it looks higher than it did.
    Now if I could just find time and energy to do the front coil overs swap.
